To understand why people do Only fans etc

There is just not enough money to live a nice, fairly average life now on good jobs. Really what is the point? Just working to survive until we retire, probably in our 70’s, if we’re lucky to make it that long..it’s crap! It isn’t a life and isnt the way it should be.

Have been watching the programmes with Olivia Attwood (think that’s her name) and all these people earning thousands a month with the aim of working a few years to earn a few million and be done. A lot of them seem to have captured niche markets, work from home, work for themselves…I don’t know, how much longer to go out every day to work, to slog my guts out just to get by.

I totally get it too OP. If I was 20 again with the brain I had then, yes it's possible I could consider this as a viable option. I was rather promiscuous and didn't really have the insight to understand it then. I was also working in a job dominated by very sexist and maybe more males. Not getting paid too great for it.

It goes against all my values and personal insights now I'm older wiser and years of counselling later. Back then though, yes I think I would have seriously considered it. If there was an option to remain unidentifiable and conceal my face then I certainly would have been exploring all possibilities.

My niece is on OF, she got involved in the early days of the platform. She was thousands in debt after graduating from a 6 year degree. She’s now debt free and owns her home outright due to her OF earnings. For her it was partly timing, and good marketing. There are many more creators on there now.

So out of curiosity I went and looked on OF. Without creating an account you can’t actually see much but they sort of show snippets of different content - videos on Super Bowl snacks anyone?
Essentially it seemed like any other social media outlet - like a large amount of time and effort would have to go into creating the content to get anywhere.
Frankly if someone wants to do that to the extent it brings in big bucks, fair play to them!

People pay for OnlyFans for many reasons, but seeing more extreme acts than they'd see on PornHub isn't one of them

They pay for all sorts of reasons. Because they like a specific performer and feel it’s less impersonal, or have a specific fetish that’s pretty niche, or because they want to interact with the performer, or because they (correctly) believe it’s more ethical to get their porn from someone who runs their own account, decides on their own content, is over the age of consent and is getting paid for their work, rather than going on PornHub where they have no idea if the performer was paid or consented to have the video shared.

Extreme material is really not what OnlyFans is known for. I know a bloke who has an OnlyFans and none of his content is fully nude. It’s very suggestive and he wears less than he does on his Instagram - underwear, basically - but he’s never done any nude content. His subscribers are about 40% men and 60% women. Apparently he gets way more explicit messages from women than he does from men.
