I am so excited that I needed to create a thread. I have been successful in my Eurovision ballot and going to the final in May!!! I’ve been a lifelong Eurovision fan and been wanting to go for elevate (but been hard as DCs are little) and this year I’m going! CANT BLOODY WAIT!!

I'm so jealous, you must start a thread and tell us all the gossip on the day.

Only downside is a standing ticket - how I’ll handle standing for 5h who knows but I guess I’ll be dancing!

I also only got assigned one ticket and I’m nervous about going alone!

I’ll be getting all my sparkles out! But we aren’t allowed bags so already thinking what to do with coats etc!

Absolutely loads of people will be there alone, and you all have something in common already so you'll have an amazing time.

Make sure to wear comfy, flat, broken in shoes (the sparkliest and most obnoxious ones you can find) and have a few drinks of your choice and 5 hours will feel like 5 minutes.

Ah thank you, a few people in real life have been confused that I’m going alone and have made me nervous. In all honesty I am not the most confident person so that got me worried!!

I've never been to eurovision, but I've been to festivals and gigs alone and always had a ball and met some fantastic people.

With the eurovision you could befriend anyone from 18-80 from anywhere in the world, it's going to be amazing. Don't be nervous, this is a massive deal, don't let anything take the shine from your disco ball 🤣

Fabulous! We were lucky enough to get tickets to Eurovision in Liverpool a couple of years ago and it was amazing! Don’t worry about going alone, other fans were very friendly. Lots of people were dressing up to the nines! Have a fantastic time.
