All inclusive hotel in Spain.

Fancy dress competitions for kids and kids club for general ents etc discos

Some of the male hotel guests putting on drag acts as evening entertainment

Two pools - one indoor / one outdoor

Sharing a dinner table with another guest couple at the hotel

Space invader machines /Pac Man etc

Pool table

VERY predominantly British guests

Hotel is right next to a beach

Plenty of cafes and bowling alleys near by for entertainment

Nice ‘bar’ area where you can also get drinks like milk shakes etc

Courier service so you have the option to go on day trips etc

Hotel guests in general are a bit ‘Phoenix Nights’ iyswim

So, what’s the verdict ?? Y Viva Espana?

No that sounds shit.

ohyesido · 18/01/2025 18:25

Can't see anything to complain about tbh

NigelHarmansNewWife · 18/01/2025 18:25

No. I wouldn't do all-inclusive and especially not at what sounds like a holiday camp!

Poppyseeds79 · 18/01/2025 18:25

Did you have kids with you?
Right next to the beach is a tick for me

Headstarttohappiness · 18/01/2025 18:26

No. I’d rather decorate our kitchen.
Each to their own though.

You don’t sound sure tbh!

Hello113 · 18/01/2025 18:26

Sounds awful.

mynameiscalypso · 18/01/2025 18:26

No, not at all. I would dislike most of it (especially sharing a table at dinner!!)

gokartdillydilly · 18/01/2025 18:26

Sounds utterly ghastly.

Ohhelpicantthinkofaname · 18/01/2025 18:27

Me and my daughters would probably enjoy it for a short break, sounds like it could be a laugh for a few days. My husband would hate it with a passion and so it would never be a family holiday.

Catza · 18/01/2025 18:27

Not really. What's the point of going to Spain? Sound like a British caravan park holiday to me.

LucastaNoir · 18/01/2025 18:27

Holidays are really individual taste so I’m guessing some people would enjoy it, others wouldn’t 🤷🏻‍♀️

would you enjoy it OP?

Screamingabdabz · 18/01/2025 18:27

I would spend the whole time grinding my teeth and hating it but lots of families love that sort of thing, especially if it’s affordable. Horses for courses.

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 18/01/2025 18:28

I wouldn’t choose it but I’m sure I could make the best of it - esp if I was just getting to relax by a pool and have my meals cooked for me! 😂

Tcsha · 18/01/2025 18:29

Surely this sort of holiday happens everywhere, so it’s not really a ‘Viva Espana’ question?! Germans love Lanzarote for example and there are lots of all inclusive hotels advertising biergartens and bratwurst, the Russians like certain resorts in Egypt.

You either all inclusive type places or not, I don’t think it depends on the country.

JLou08 · 18/01/2025 18:29

I think I would enjoy it, especially with my children. It sounds fun and I like to mix up holidays. Some are fun, some relaxing, some sightseeing holidays.
It really doesn't matter if other people would enjoy it, it's all down to the individual.

dammit88 · 18/01/2025 18:29

I would hate sharing the table with people I’m not on holiday with!

meganorks · 18/01/2025 18:29

Sounds like my idea of hell.

Whatabouthow · 18/01/2025 18:30

Pre kids, absolutely not. With two toddlers, a short flight, entertainment and not cooking sounds like bliss.

Prickofpredictability · 18/01/2025 18:31

I definitely wouldn't choose it. I'd go and make the best of it if it was with a family group and suited the majority.

shinebrightlikeanemerald · 18/01/2025 18:31

I would (and have) endure it if I was going with extended family and all the kids got to play with each other.

I found Center Parcs a struggle. Disney a struggle. But the kids loved doing stuff like this.

caringcarer · 18/01/2025 18:32

I would not enjoy it. I'd hate the drag act. It sounds like it would be noisy and not peaceful at all. When I go on holiday I like to relax in peace and quiet or explore beautiful new places. Not be stuck without a car in what sounds like a very noisy holiday camp.

mynameiscalypso · 18/01/2025 18:32

I think I'd spend a lot of time on trips or eating at restaurants outside the hotel so it would be a total waste of money too.

StormingNorman · 18/01/2025 18:33

Sounds delightfully retro. It’ll be a giggle. I loved “Benidorm” and it sounds just like that.

MyrtleLion · 18/01/2025 18:33

Are you asking because you want to go or are you asking because you're turning your nose up at it?

UtterlyOtterly · 18/01/2025 18:33

I would rather stay at home than do that but we are all different.
