Are there any conspiracy theories you believe in?

Inspired by another thread

I find conspiracy theories really interesting. I have never ‘believed’ any of them, more enjoy discussing them and how likely it seems that they could be true. I also think it’s more far fetched to believe that everything we have ever been told or ever will be told is the whole truth.

Are there any CTs you believe in? Lead me down a rabbit hole please!

Government's, high ranking policemen/women, media figures and judges are freemasons who follow orders. Average joe won't get to the top. If he dares take one of them on, they will gang up on him and destroy him.

One of quick posts and I feel terrible I didn’t ready the post properly… I 100% believe it to be a conspiracy @ICantBelieveItsNotButtercunt @HornyHornersPinger @theDudesmummy @Longma

I generally don’t believe in conspiracy theories, but I do think there’s more than meets the eye about the deaths of David Kelly and Gareth Williams. But I don’t know enough facts (rather than theories presented as facts) to be certain.

I’m also slightly suspicious about the death of Bin Laden. If you’d spent years and millions bringing an organisation down, would you just shoot him? Or would you stick him in a bunker somewhere and get as much intelligence from him as possible? It just seems like a lot of effort to go to with not much pay off. I expect he’s dead now. I’m just not convinced that he died when they say he did.

The US government knew where he was all along. Again, only the hard of thinking would believe that he was hiding in a city in Pakistan near a military complex with US drones flying over northern Pakistan - morning, noon and night, and the most power surveillance force to ever exist in the history of mankind didn’t know.

They knew. And when the shine had worn off the Afghanistan conflict, because ISIS were their newly manufactured threat on the block, Bin Laden was no longer useful and dispensed with.

And so the perpetual rip off of the US taxpayer at the hands of big defence continues. The gravy train must not be allowed to stop.

I haven't RTFT so maybe I'm not the only one, but I'm inclined to believe that Jeanne Calment, allegedly the world's oldest woman took her own daughter's identity.

And the "Wing Dings" chain email that went around work......just a coincidence I'm sure..... like you say, we will never know!

US Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969. So many conspiracy theories about this and I have looked at so many arguments for and against and I'm not totally convinced that it was true. Feel free to try and convince me!

Not sure Epstein committed suicide given how many powerful friends he could have taken down with him.

I am not sure he killed himself either

he had covered himself for years and he is caught and suddenly he is scared

Puzzledandpissedoff · 22/12/2024 21:11

What is more likely though?
Loving Parents or a known pedophile?

That only really works if we consider the loving parents to be deliberate killers, @katter, and as far as I can see most of us don't
IMO it's just as likely that both may have drugged her to sleep, while being unaware that the other parent had already done it, and that the overdose led to her death

BobbyBiscuits · 22/12/2024 21:12

I guess there's an overarching feeling of war games. Powerful people (men) selling weapons and bombs to eachother and they're all just as bad as eachother. Playing war games at innocent people's expense.
I do find politicians often difficult to believe.
I wouldn't say I was into conspiracy theories though.

Absolute Rubbish!

I work in this field. There was no stopping them when the majority were in the backs of Lorries. There’s no stopping them now the majority are coming in small boats. What’s an armed frigate going to do? Shout at them to turn around? Open fire on a load of un-armed potential refugees, possibly including women and children? Or maybe you’re thinking their dinghys could be ‘boarded’ and towed back to France? And while they’re busy doing that, who’ll be stopping the other dinghys who’ll be taking advantage of a busy frigate? And if it gets too difficult to cross in a small boat, they’ll just go back to Lorries.

The only people who think that this is a giant conspiracy are people who don’t have a clue about asylum or immigration.

Christmassprinkles123 · 22/12/2024 19:49

Actually they aren't theories and tests are now showing that the vaccines can cause harm eg. Blood clots, heart issues

This was known and out there quite a while ago, before a lot of people had had their first vaccine.

StrawberryWater · 22/12/2024 21:17

Diana for sure and some of the things surrounding 9/11 (that it was known about and left to happen because it created certain advantages for the USA to go in and get oil and earn loads in rebuilding and bolster their weapons industry etc).

You work in the field?

Well, you must know everything then. Is it like, when people turn up to a shop and shout at the cashier to give them a refund, because, well….they work in a shop too and know their rights innit?

TwinklyMintHelper · 22/12/2024 21:19

The string of events in the so - called Covid pandemic. As a scientist and someone who has worked in pharmaceutical research, none of the government’s information and decisions hung together.

After my ex went down this rabbit hole & spent his life trying to get me to stop being ‘brainwashed’ by the MSM and believe him that Covid vaccines killed & are still killing millions, that we will
own nothing, we will all work for the government and rent houses back from them & many other ridiculous things, I just totally turn off if I get a sniff of this thinking from anyone!

unfortunately he isn’t making up the ‘own nothing’ part of this from thin air, a quick google and it’s a phrase directly from the World Economic Forum back in 2016.

Thindog · 22/12/2024 21:20

Harry isn't royal, he is a love child of Diana's. Charles knows Harry is a Hewitt.
The official line, that Diana and Hewitt started their affair after Harry was born is a lie, people in the village where his mother lived know this.

Madeleine McCann's body was in the apartment, there was no abduction, and sniffer dogs confirmed this.

Radon Girls.
Dark Waters.
Erin Brockovich.
Dopesick.

All films about huge, life changing cover ups.
None of these were cock ups, these were all cases of money being more important than humans.

I'm willing to bet that in 100 years there will be a list of cases going on now, in our near past and in our future, where yet again the insatiable greed of certain humans is more important than the health and safety of the people they’re apparently working for.

Wherever there is money involved there is always the potential for people to be hurt to benefit those who take in the money. That’s anything but a cock up, and until it’s proven it’s very much conspiracy theory.

These were all cock-ups followed by cover-ups, which snowballed into victimising hundreds/thousands and thus became conspiracies - the Horizon scandal, Thalidomide and others as well.

In most (maybe all) cases, the truth was not immediately apparent but, when evidence started to emerge, the psychopaths in charge decided to style it out and keep cashing the cheques. These decisions then forced them to discredit critics with better morals, creating conspiracies.

We all see this dynamic in action in our daily lives, fortunately with much less drastic effects. People definitely shouldn't do it but they do. Overconfidence, greed, fear and bullshit are to blame - not the 'conspiracy theorist' scenario of powerful cabals sitting down to plan & plot global scams for mysterious reasons.

If you want deliberate global scams, you need to look at the less gripping stuff like tax evasion or trafficking.

There isn't any evidence of them drughing their kids though. There is evidence of a convicted pedophile in the area so.
Surely speculating about grieving parents though doesn't help anyone it will only hurt those affected.

Yeah but you’re not allowed to say that. Because the ‘clever’ people don’t like it. Anything that proves that they are being taken for a ride by the authorities must never be pointed out. It hurts their sense of pride and superiority.

whoputallofthatthere · 22/12/2024 21:23

The moon landings absolutely happened. We left things on the surface of the moon. The landing sites have since been photographed repeatedly. Also hundreds of thousands of people worked on the missions. Hard to believe that in over 50 years there hasn't been a single whistleblower... also the USSR would have absolutely loved to out the US landings as fake if they had been able to.

9/11 is mine. I'm not saying it's an actual conspiracy, just aspects of it don't really make sense to me.
