Are there any conspiracy theories you believe in?

Inspired by another thread

I find conspiracy theories really interesting. I have never ‘believed’ any of them, more enjoy discussing them and how likely it seems that they could be true. I also think it’s more far fetched to believe that everything we have ever been told or ever will be told is the whole truth.

Are there any CTs you believe in? Lead me down a rabbit hole please!

As I get older, I just believe in less that we're told

I think lots of the political events we see are manipulated etc

Princess Di was killed

The recent Trump assassination attempts we're fake 🙄

Loads of ones around high profile deaths and activities, I just don't believe we know thr full truth

That said, I don't believe that the earth is flat, or that kind of thing

I agree. The older I get the less I'm inclined to believe the official version of events completely. I think we would be astounded to know what really goes on behind the scenes.

Is that a conspiracy theory ?
Wether it came from a lab or the wet market I don't think either is better than the other.

Eh? If it came from a lab it means they are creating contagious viruses capable of killing millions of people...!

After my ex went down this rabbit hole & spent his life trying to get me to stop being ‘brainwashed’ by the MSM and believe him that Covid vaccines killed & are still killing millions, that we will
own nothing, we will all work for the government and rent houses back from them & many other ridiculous things, I just totally turn off if I get a sniff of this thinking from anyone!

I think that your ex is absolutely on the money!!

SuperfluousHen · 22/12/2024 19:58

LadyTiredWinterBottom2 · 22/12/2024 19:55

It's not a theory, they didn't find any.

But as someone else just reminded me, this was considered a “conspiracy theory “ until it was proven to be true.

Why sensible people think that Diana was killed off is:

Before she died, Diana wrote a note saying "they are planning a car crash in my car"

Perfectly sound reasoning is discredited by taking it to the extreme. Electric cars are not designed to control your brain. They are simply designed to fleece you into buying something by making internal combustion cars illegal.

Climate hysteria is basically designed to nudge and then forcibly take people money, so that goes to government lobbyists. In this case, everyone who is linked to the ‘green’ gravy train.

Does it trouble you, at all, that the fossil fuel industry spends more than 25x more on lobbying than climate advocates do?

You said you're following the money, after all.

The theories I find most believable are the faked moon landings and that titanic didn’t sink.

Awful, I have reported this post.
I'm glad that Chris Whitty was advising the govt. it was hardly his fault they took no notice.

Goodadvice1980 · 22/12/2024 20:02

Wasn’t there a suggestion that Tupac wasn’t really killed?

I would love to see him on trial for her murder but until that happens I am not convinced about the evidence the Germans have on him.

What is more likely though?
Loving Parents or a known pedophile?
I think it would be pretty horrid to Lose a child and people still accusing you years later

I too throughly enjoy conspiracy theories. My favourite ones are the Bermuda triangle ones, the titanic ones, that Eminem we see today is a clone and about celebs faking their deaths.

Wait, he’s not the real Slim Shady?!

Lion1618 · 22/12/2024 20:04

Too many to list here to be perfectly honest, or at least I believe there's a semblance of truth there somewhere.
I'm now less inclined to believe that the official line were given is truthful, and the real truth is somewhere between "conspiracy" and what they'd like us to believe.

@RichardnotJudy Yet again proving that the anti-lockdown conspiracy nuts are the dregs of society and not the morally or intelligently superior beings they claim.

A friend of mine had to end all contact with one of her friends who went full on "Do Your Research" "Plandemic" "Scamdemic" "the wards are full of crisis actors" conspiracy theory. An otherwise educated and reasonable person who got sucked into the whole thing.

Ytcsghisn · 22/12/2024 20:05

Funny how the enlightened conveniently swerve the topic when what they called conspiracy theories turn out to be true.

Or they get into a ‘yeah but, no but, yeah but….’

Anyone who said in 2020 that Biden was suffering from dementia and in no fit state to sun for President and was just a front man, was totally slated. Even though it was blindingly obvious from the news footage even then.

Anyone who said that Covid was probably man made and leaked purposely, was made out to be a villain. Until the FBI confirmed it.

Anyone who said that the Iraq war was a fraud was called names. Until it turned out that there were no WMDs. Never mind being able to launch them within 45 mins.

That Madeleine McCann's parents have always known what happened to her in Portugal.

Interestingly I am pretty sceptical of many things but I absolutely cannot believe this. I don't know if it's possible for 2 parents to find their daughter accidently dead, immediately and completely hide the body with no trace and then keep up the very public sham for as long as they have. If they were involved why on earth would they keep this in the public eye so much? Surely they would slink into the background and hope no one makes any more fuss?

And I absolutely can't believe that one of them hasn't broken down and confessed. It's been so long, shouldering a burden like that - when it's not premeditated - is immense.

This. Just in case there's the tiniest chance it'll be proven the Mccanns were responsible, I'll keep sticking the knife into a grieving family just so I can say I was right all along.

Disgusting.

I like the one about the Olympic sinking instead of the Titanic. I remember reading that the owners claimed for damage for stuff that were on Olympic but not Titanic.

I also think Covid came from the lab and ended up at the market due to someone who had been at said lab first. I did read that Americans had visited the lab not long before the virus linked, so wouldn’t surprise me if they leaked it too (either intentionally or accidentally).

Both disproved a long time ago.

I think a lot of countries are at least experimenting with deadly viruses.
It's as much a deterrent as nuclear weapons.

I remember reading about the Paul McCartney CT and someone said it's all about the ears which led me down a rabbit hole to the CT that Katy Perry is Jon benet Ramsey and 'the ears proved it'. Some people have very vivid imaginations!

Some people have very vivid imaginations!

I think it’s almost the case that they don’t. They are incredibly thick and they can’t think past what they’re being told by whatever ridiculous social media algorithm rathole they’ve fallen down. As in, no imagination.

I wouldnt say that I definitely believe its true but I would not be in the slightest bit surprised to learn that Donald Trump arranged his own "attempted" assasinations.

I have to admit that this one did suck me in a bit, all seemed very odd and after it had happened he did not go on and on about it like I thought he would. It also seems such a Trump like thing to do
