Right. DH has asked me to ask this

Does you DH/ partner whatever go commando when they are in normal everyday clothes?

YABU - yes they do and it's normal
YANBU - no that's odd

Totally lighthearted!

My DH doesn't wear pants in the house if wearing shorts. Sometimes if he's running late to pick me up he'll drive like this. I never know, so I'll ask if we can nip into Tesco, he'll just exclaim "No I can't go in without pants!!!! .... I'll wait in car"😂He sleeps naked though

Katemax82 · 20/11/2024 23:09

My husband does if he wears jeans or shorts but not to work

Ruffpuff · 20/11/2024 23:25

No. Mine states that he likes having a ‘nice pouch’ to put it all in. He sleeps in pants too.

MysteriousUsername · 20/11/2024 23:54

Yes, sometimes he does. I don't know why, I haven't asked as it's not something I'm bothered about.

healthybychristmas · 21/11/2024 01:10

My first boyfriend never wore underpants. When I first visited his house, he was living with his mum and dad, they didn't have sheets or pillowcases either. When I think of men going commando I always think of that, that they didn't have a normal upbringing. It is a bit of a reach, I know, but FFS who doesn't wear underwear?

womenloveittoo · 21/11/2024 01:28

@healthybychristmas no sheets or pillow cases! That's absolutely horrible. His bed must have stank. Did you stay over? I would have had to leave.

The people who's partners sleep completely naked- all I can think is pubes on the sheets 😱

AutumnLeaves24 · 21/11/2024 01:30

No, he wears cotton/elastic type boxers, he'd find it too chafing to go without under clothing. & he just wouldn't (he's a bit 'proper' about stuff like that. He has many hang ups from his weird parents.

previous have always worn underwear under clothes too.

Weirdly never find stray pubes on the sheets, but if we did, they'd only be one of ours and we do much more intimate things with pubes than find them in the sheets!

ihatethewordhubby · 21/11/2024 01:44

What about the skid marks ??

womenloveittoo · 21/11/2024 01:46

@AutumnLeaves24 well quite 😋 I knew someone would mention sex. I always change the sheets after so I wouldn't notice any. I guess it's just a 'me' thing as I really couldn't stand finding random pubes in bed every day. But if you say that doesn't happen then fair enough!

My husband goes commando most of the time. His gym shorts have built in support, and he wears boxers with his work suits, but otherwise? No underpants. I think, "Surely it must be uncomfortable in jeans?" but it's no skin off my nose either way. It's not like his willy is touching everything.

Edited to add: I don't wear underpants often either, except when I'm on my period, wearing a shortish skirt, or with jeans.

ThreeDoorsDown · 21/11/2024 01:59

Gives a new meaning to touching cloth.

2Sensitive · 21/11/2024 02:01

Hubby wears pants 👌

caringcarer · 21/11/2024 02:09

Pants on during the day but sleeps with nothing on. Wears pj trousers to go downstairs when he first gets up.

ChannelLightVessel · 21/11/2024 02:14

DB (48) has just been circumcised for medical reasons, and he has had to buy some new pants because the seams on his boxer shorts were causing discomfort. I don’t think going commando would be a good idea.

You don't wear knickers? 🤢

mrlistersgelfbride · 21/11/2024 10:47

I voted YABU as I know mine does.
Only when WFH though 😆

sweetpickle2 · 21/11/2024 10:55

Aside from being caught short (all your pants are in the wash, you have an accident while out and about) I can't imagine why on earth anyone would choose to go commando, let alone on a regular basis.

Bigearringsbigsmile · 21/11/2024 10:22

Why the nauseated emoji? It's not like I'm walking around without any bottoms entirely. There's fabric between my body and the places I sit.

They just aren't necessary except in certain situations. That's just more laundry to do. Plus if you're wearing even moderately tight trousers, then you get panty lines.

Bigearringsbigsmile · 21/11/2024 13:00

Knickers/pants absolutely are essential and not wearing them is an abomination

MrsSkylerWhite · 21/11/2024 13:01

No

StrawberryWater · 21/11/2024 13:01

No.

My husband says he hates his wang touching the seam of his trousers. He likes to wear undies.

You could wash one or two pairs of trousers a week plus seven pairs of knickers, or seven pairs of trousers. Seven pairs of trousers is a lot more by volume and weight so is more washing.
