What is the point of the card, other than them knowing what you buy and when?
I didn't use it today as I don't seem to get anything back?
It's not like you get money off and collect points is it?
Anyone enlighten me as to whether or not it's worth carrying on?
Does anyone benefit from theirs?😥

Have been thinking about one of their knitted jackets for a couple of weeks - seemed a bit expensive for what it was, got a sparks voucher for 15% off clothing today.😁

It feels like a tokenistic and cost effective effort from M&S to give offers their core demographic thinks are bargains (e.g 10% off the most expensive sandwiches in the high street). Like so much else in life, it all comes down to money so god knows how much money they make from selling our data. It’s also a gateway to their credit card, which gives you points.

Having said that I got some nice freebies last December during their 12 Days of Christmas promotion, though I suppose they weren’t really free because of the data thing.

IME they give you an offer of money off an item when you have just bought said item. I bought a small suitcase a couple of weeks ago and sure enough my latest Sparks offer gives me 20% off luggage. 🤬

Haha they do!

I bought a cardi and shoes and they sent me one for 15% off, so I returned and ordered again.

Well you could always buy one with the discount & return the other one (or the 2nd one with 1st receipt if you've used it!). This won't work if you're outside the returns window though......
I know - I'm sneaky!

Have had free bag of cookies on my birthday, just had 10% off clothing and 10% off home wear.

The discounts are good, but last years advent calendar was ridiculous, if you don't go to store on the day they run out of the things grr.
