Pizza Hut Buffet

Posting here to hopefully get some quick answers.

So I will be going to Pizza Hut for the buffet, at the weekend with my child for one of her friend's parties.
There's a few of us going, and I've had a look online and at weekends it is 15.99 per adult and 10.99 for children !
I am absolutely not going to eat 15.99 worth of pizza! And I doubt my child will eat £11 worth.
Would I be unreasonable to just pay for my child and maybe have a slice of pizza or 2?
I know they charge different per head to stop this. But how do they police this ??
It's not a huge deal, but I would definitely like to know before I go, and like to know if other people do this or not ?

Or doesn't understand that restaurants need to be paid for two meals if two people eat.

Pizza hut is absolutely rank so I would begrudge paying that amount for it too. But I think that if you eat it at all you will likely have to pay. Though as a worker on minimum wage for a massive corporation I would not be policing if a mim eats a slice or two. I definitely do not think you deserve to be flogged for asking the question.

I do have a level of understanding, thanks. And I know how restaurants work. But I’ve seen more insulting posts on this thread than I have on others where the OP admits to far, far worse than HYPOTHETICALLY eating 2 slices of pizza.

OP has a choice.

If she doesn't like the prices she doesn't have to go.
If she does goes and wants two people to eat then should pay for two people.

OP, I also wouldn't pay for two buffets. Buy one pizza that costs less than either buffet price and you can both stuff your faces legally on less money. Nobody could object to that. Possibly less money for pizza hut but totally legal!
