To think my eyes look too harsh?

I’m trying to do more self care, I had ny brows done a couple of days ago. I think they look awful. I have naturally big brows but this is stupid looking.

I just want to look more polished and 🥺 yeah ..

What did you have done?

I want the brow hair darker.

But not my skin coloured in.

Have you added make-up?

EVHead · 22/09/2024 21:17

They look great! They look full and even and natural.

They’re always a bit dark at first but that will calm down once the dye on the skin has faded.

Lazzylegs · 22/09/2024 21:18

They are a bit too thick and too short to look natural.

Unconvinced8768 · 22/09/2024 21:18

Lovely shape! Don’t worry, they'll fade in a day or so. Mine are always a bit scary to start with.

Goody2ShoesAndTheFilthyBeast · 22/09/2024 21:18

Well, they're even and tidy, which is nice.

MarshmallowsOnToast · 22/09/2024 21:18

It's really hard to say without seeing your full face and how everything balances out.

But from that tiny picture they don't look bad.

CultureAlienationBoredomandDespair · 22/09/2024 21:18

Would they look better brushed over? The look like they’ve been pushed up (are they laminated?) but you can see where the natural shape would fall and I think that would make them look softer.

Emmadaily · 22/09/2024 21:19

They look lovely

Xx

AylesBuck · 22/09/2024 21:20

They look great!

NeverDropYourMooncup · 22/09/2024 21:20

They're fine, you'll get used to the change in a couple of days - it always looks weird in your opinion when you do them for the first time or after a long break.

Unfortunately there’s no tint on them, my brows are naturally dark and I’ve learnt from past experiences to specifically request to leave them the colour they are.

I’ve got brow envy. They look great!

TheYearOfSmallThings · 22/09/2024 21:31

They look fine to me.

Yeah, I was going to suggest this. They're brushed upwards so they look more bushy than they are!

MamasitaGringita · 22/09/2024 21:37

They look fantastic. You're very lucky.

Childfreecatlady · 22/09/2024 21:40

My brows look very similar when they are brushed up and while they are nice, I feel the really thick brows don't suit my fave, so I brush them diagonally a bit more to make them less thick but brush the hairs above the nose straight up and cut them to even everything out. I think this would work well on you too.

WhichEllie · 22/09/2024 21:41

Getting brows “done” can mean lots of different things, including tinting (as one poster thought) and microblading. What did you have done? Are you asking about the shape of them?

Pigeonqueen · 22/09/2024 21:42

Well they look very fashionable. That’s exactly the kind of shape and size loads of women would love at the moment. If you’re not keen on them you can always pluck them slightly to change the shape, unless you’ve had them micro bladed?

outdamnedspots · 22/09/2024 21:44

Just brush then back down to a more natural position.

LastNight1Dreamt1WentToManderleyAgain · 22/09/2024 21:46

They're lovely! The colour is great...you could experiment with highlighters sweeping out just along the bone under the brows.

JC03745 · 22/09/2024 21:46

I too was going to say rather than brushing them up into a bush, brush across into a more normal brow line. They look neat and tidy, just un-naturally brushed upwards!

Timetosparkle478 · 22/09/2024 21:48

Did you have a brow lamination? Or just wax? Threading?

Whatthefuck3456 · 22/09/2024 21:49

Girls in Liverpool would love your brows. And that’s not a negative I think they look great!

SaltedPotato · 22/09/2024 21:55

Also depends where in the UK you are believe it or not.

boulevardofbrokendreamss · 22/09/2024 21:55

What did you have done? Sorry but I don't think they look natural at all.
