Not wanting to offend
Just interested in the facts please.
Are trans women that have NOT undergone surgical ( transformation?) more likely to offend against women that were born female? Or not?
Again - not wanting to offend - just wanting hard facts. Thank you

What do you mean “offend against women”

Pandasnacks · 20/09/2024 19:40

No idea what you mean to be honest

TidyDancer · 20/09/2024 19:41

Do you mean are 'transitioning' men more likely to offend if they retain their genitals than if they have them removed?

ladyofshertonabbas · 20/09/2024 19:41

Very much doubt you’ll find stats on that.

tillytoodles1 · 20/09/2024 19:41

My sister has a M to F trans neighbour. No operations, just a man dressed and made-up as a woman. She/he has a lesbian girlfriend, I just don't get it.

OrangeSlices998 · 20/09/2024 19:42

I don’t think you’ll find stats on that, a trans woman with a penis could assault someone with their fingers or an object for example - whether they had a penis they could have used won’t be recorded.

StarSlinger · 20/09/2024 19:42

Not another trans thread. Are you bored OP?

Shupra · 20/09/2024 19:44

Could you rephrase your question please?

thursdaymurderclub · 20/09/2024 19:44

the answer is no! men offend against women, women offend against women, women offend against men...

GrannyAchingsShepherdsHut · 20/09/2024 19:47

I don't understand the question.

Do you mean more likely to offend against women than against men?

Or more likely to offend than biological men who aren't trans?

Or more likely to offend than biological women?

Or something else?

Tiredallthetimeneedsleep · 20/09/2024 19:50

Shupra · 20/09/2024 19:44

Could you rephrase your question please?

Ok to be blunt
Are born male trans women with everything intact more likely to sexually assault than trans women who have had surgery

( I was trying to not offend anyone but I don't think that's possible on here )

oh i think your whole plan was to offend someone

Pandasnacks · 20/09/2024 19:53

What is your reason for asking OP? What is your situation?

Gymrabbit · 20/09/2024 19:53

It would be almost impossible to find statistics on this but I would say almost definitely yes. For example under British law a transwoman who had had full surgery couldn’t commit rape at all as it requires a penis. Also major use of hormones would reduce testosterone.
its fairly clear that many of the famous cases such as Isla Bryson have had little or no surgery/treatment from their appearances.

I would also suggest that those transwomen who are attracted to men are far less mouldy to attack women than those who call themselves ‘lesbians’

I give up. I read something a while ago about transwomen raping biological women in prison and I was just wanting bloody facts. Jesus!!!! Arghh

'Rape' doesn't require a penis, women can rape men.

Gingernaut · 20/09/2024 19:55

Stats are fairly vague, but MtF transitioners are more likely to retain a male pattern of offending

Not specifically against women, but in all categories

They are more likely than 'us' to have been convicted of any and all offences, including sex offences

Transgender women criminality shows male pattern | Fair Play For Women

Transgender women in prison exhibit a male-type pattern of criminality, new data confirms. Crimes match birth sex not gender identity. So....

Shupra · 20/09/2024 19:55

I would guess the answer is yes then. The question is basically is an entire male more likely to sexually offend than a eunuch.

BarbaraHoward · 20/09/2024 19:55

ladyofshertonabbas · 20/09/2024 19:41

Very much doubt you’ll find stats on that.

Agree with this. Regardless of the inflammatory nature of the question I doubt there is enough data recorded to draw a conclusion.

@Entangledlife don't be stupid. I'm not getting into such a basic debate, facts are facts.

'Rape' doesn't require a penis, women can rape men.

Under English & welsh law specifically the sexual offences act 2003 rape requires a penis

(1)A person (A) commits an offence if—
(a)he intentionally penetrates the vagina, anus or mouth of another person (B) with his penis,
(b)B does not consent to the penetration, and
(c)A does not reasonably believe that B consents.
