Inspired by the other thread (which wouldn't you visit again), if you could only choose one country to visit again which one and why?

Having asked I'm struggling to answer myself! I think probably Italy for the food and history but part of me wants to say Tibet because it's so stunning and culturally interesting.

Places I do go back to regularly - Sweden, Denmark, Italy and USA but less regularly.

I really want to go back to Costa Rica, I went over 10 years ago and would absolutely love to visit again.

@Mandarinaduck could you tell me more about what there was to do in Slovenia please?

I’m not @Mandarinaduck but I love Slovenia too. It’s the most beautiful country for hiking, mountain climbing, rafting, horse riding and skiing. It also has a lovely coast that’s more Mediterranean than Alpine, fantastic caves to explore and Ljubljana is great for castles, restaurants and bars. It’s very easy to explore.

This is so hard!

I'm leaving Germany out of the equation as my in-laws are there so I want to be allowed to visit them regularly please?!

I can narrow it down to 3 but cannot possibly decide between them:
Slovenia
Sweden
Iceland

I have visited all three twice and still plan to go back again. And again. And again!

Yes exactly - lots of outdoorsy things. Whitewater rafting, canyoning, paragliding, ziplining, underground mountain biking, lake swimming, you name it. Very friendly, clean, green (in both senses) and easy to get around too.
