Thanks! I read somewhere too there have been recalls but not sure exactly what that means. Curious if it's simply like my daughter in that there was a self tape request or something more.

Has anyone managed to submit the 2 audition videos today without paying? I’ve been trying since yesterday and get so far and then it kicks me out or asks for payment 🤦‍♀️
My DD is desperate to submit it and I fear it’s going to be the biggest learning lesson for her to not leave things to the last minute!

I got to the point where it asked for $5 which I paid but then when I try to submit it says I need to be a Pro member? Which isn't right, I know - in fact I don’t think I needed to pay the $5 but that was a hit I was prepared to take. Anyway right now it’s just repeatedly kicking me out, not uploading or telling me to upgrade. Not sure what to do!

Out of interest, how did people whose children are with an agency go about finding one that is legit / good? DD desperately wanted to get into acting, but she’s only 10 and I am clueless! What is involved with joining an agency? I’m guessing one’s child has to be talented, but are there fees etc too?

My daughter (8) recently got signed up with a legit agency. There are lots out there but you need to know who they are. If you're on FB there is a great group called Parents of child models and actors UK - PLEASE READ THE FEATURED POST.

The legit agencies don't charge anything to join (sometimes a small admin charge) and you don't need a professional portfolio to sign up- they usually need headshots taken at home under specific conditions and there is usually a self tape to submit - a monologue or something to show their acting

I just persisted today and did manage to do it. It cost me $5 though which is a bit weird. I had to refresh, reload etc about a million times over three hours but it went through in the end.

I am just getting page not found now, having spent all last night trying to get just to the casting page. My son is just doing it for fun, but still. It's such a waste of my time, if they have taken the page down already they should just say.

OK, have just had more luck on my laptop, used Google photos to get the files on it.

I’m only getting as far as credit card entering credit card details. And I’m not sure I want to a) fund this or b) pay to then still not be able to submit. Are people managing to submit without having to pay?

No, and that bit was where mine fell apart as it wanted me to create an account but I was already logged in...

I have been trying all afternoon and kept getting the 404 error. I finally managed to upload and submit successfully about 7.30pm but no money was involved - not even $5 - so I am a bit worried/confused now!

I agree with all of this especially joining the Facebook group. Make sure you do read the featured post because it tells you who the scams are.

my daughter is with a legit agency. We paid a £40 admin fee and that’s it although you have to pay for the spotlight profile which is what the casting directors use. I think it’s about £10 a month.

ive managed to do it and didnt have to pay anything - it think its to do with where you try to submit it from. start from the link i posted upthread and follow these instructions. I have an email that says we have a free trial membership but still can’t get past the card payment screen. Does one video class as a submission, if I pay I’m wondering if I’m going to be charged again for the second video 🤷‍♀️
