I've heard her put on a weird voice and repeatedly say, 20+ times, Scooby Dooby Doo in said weird voice. Turned off and 10 minutes later went into a shop that had Radio 2 on and she was still doing it. FFS she's paid a fortune for that nonsense and we're paying through the licence fee.

The only radio personality I listen to is James O'Brien.

It's not the northern accent. I live in the North of England and have no issue with northern accents. She just puts on weird, stupid voices and it's annoying.

Fine if you don’t like listening to her - it’s really simple. Just don’t listen. If you want to bitch about her do it irl. I don’t get the need to post on a very public forum if you don’t like a radio DJ. How are we supposed to educate our kids on being kind on social media when so many adult women are willing to chat with people they don’t know about a women they don’t know.

I started this thread to talk about the pointless chatter on the show I heard that didn't seem suited to an adult audience. That's not bitching. If I listen to a radio show ostensibly for adults, I don't want to feel I've accidentally tuned into Play away, regardless of who is presenting it.

Maybe it was Evans or Moyles. One of the Chris gobshites anyway.

I am from the North and a northern accent is something quite natural not something forced like Sara's. You listen and expect her to quip, 'I 'm working class me, where s the gravy'.it just seems to be an exaggeration of an accent to cement working class credentials to become more relatable.....it's annoying.

I think she is fine on a Saturday, without the zoo posse it's a very different take on the show.

Vernon Kay seems lost. Every single day he will start playing a song then press stop half way through and move on to the next item. It is horrible to listen to

Used to avoid Vernon on TV for years but think he’s great on the radio - same about Paddy.
Love Rylan but…. I think his conversations with Sally and Lottie go on far too long - Graham Norton had it exactly right with Maria (still miss his R2 show)

I can't be doing with Rylan at all. He seems very fake and me me me. Every time I tune in, it only takes moments till he's yapping about himself, and even while interviewing guests he'll still make it all about him.

Jeremy Vine - idk how anyone can sit through him.

Have started listening to Jo Whiley a bit more, whose breathless enthusiasm I couldn't stand at first but now I've grown more used to. I quite enjoy her interviews but her music isn't to my taste.

The only presenter on R2 I think is truly decent is OJ Borg. It's like a breath of fresh air when he presents.

I put the car radio on this morning to find Sara covering for Scott - weird pronunciations and "Kid in a car, kid in a car, honk honk" over and over and over. It's the constant repetition that's one of the most annoying factors.

I turned it on for literally 2 minutes this morning and that was enough.
She was wishing someone happy 40th Birthday but couldn't just do it in a normal mature way it has to contain one of her awful screeching jokes .

She was talking about the "shonkiness" of her style of delivery - showing she clearly has no idea what that means!

I'm preferring Sarah to Scott, and normally I'm not a fan of her in the afternoon. I think she's got more rapport with the callers than Scott. I'm getting sick of the daily quiz though, the way they keep encouraging people to beg 'the quiz' to let them go through.
