and WHY?

Very rare! Because my dad wouldn’t let me eat steak any other way growing up.

Morningcrows · 01/09/2024 22:32

Medium rare, less chewy, better flavour.

Summerbay23 · 01/09/2024 22:32

Not sure why you are asking? But rare because that’s how I like it…,
seems a strange post though?

TheClawDecides · 01/09/2024 22:34

Medium or medium rare.

Why? Because it's softer and has more flavour.

Pipecleanerrevival · 01/09/2024 22:34

Crispy and Cremated. Because eating blood is disgusting.

MrsSkylerWhite · 01/09/2024 22:34

Medium rare.

Wherearemymarbles · 01/09/2024 22:35

Rare or even better blue.

Cobblersorchard · 01/09/2024 22:36

Depends on the quality. Usually rare.

I don’t like any steak more than Medium rare, really good steak I will have Blue.

Not a massive sirloin fan though as a rule. Prefer filet.

XenoBitch · 01/09/2024 22:36

Very rare.

I was bought up on steak that could have well have been the tongue from a Dr Marten's boot. Then I tried rare. Have not looked back.

FatFilledTrottyPuss · 01/09/2024 22:37

The way my husband cooks it, medium rare but with so much garlic and pepper in such a hot pan it’s almost charcoaled on the outside and juicy red in the inside. With his peppercorn sauce, chips and tender stem broccoli 😋

The red stuff is not actually blood.

longdistanceclaraclara · 01/09/2024 22:38

Medium rare, and it has to have a crust and be properly rested.

Not chewy, tastes better.

StormingNorman · 01/09/2024 22:38

Blue to rare

Prriorayingly · 01/09/2024 22:39

I grew up in a house like this! I was in my 20s when I found out pork chops weren’t meant to be stringy 🤣

Lamb too. You can have that pink and juicy. Grew up on it being served tough and grey looking.

Michellebops · 01/09/2024 22:41

Medium rare, with peppercorn sauce, onion rings and chips

Could go it now 😆

RabbitsRock · 01/09/2024 22:42

I’m on a sirloin streak! Like mine medium 🥩

PortiasBiscuit · 01/09/2024 22:43

Cut off its horns, wipe its arse and stick it on a plate.. rare!

Hohofortherobbers · 01/09/2024 22:46

At the point a good vet could resuscitate it. Lovely!

mondaytosunday · 01/09/2024 22:47

Medium rare. Just send the perfect state of cooked but tender.
My DH loved it blue.

OneTC · 01/09/2024 22:48

It's not a cut I often buy but I cook it a bit more than some others owing to the fat content/distribution.

IndigoIsMyFavouriteColour · 01/09/2024 22:48

Well done, because I don't want to eat anything a good vet could revive.
