To ask for your favourite disaster films?

I unashamedly love a disaster film, tbh usually a shark film but currently watching "the towering inferno".

Other favourites of mine are the poisedon adventure, Dante's peak, anaconda, volcano, Armageddon, 2012, no escape (couldn't actually breathe).

Any other recommendations?

Also any one watch and realise you would just simply not survive due to having no upper most strength and being unable to achieve any of the feats the actors do to survive?

Geostorm is great, and Moonfall. Go onto Prime, get Day after Tomorrow and Armageddon and then click on the recommendations...it takes you down several layers of disaster films that gradually reduce in quality and star performers but still entertaining.

Whats the one with the rock about a skyscraper? Where he climbs up the side using his false leg to save himself?

An oldie but a goodie, The Poseidon Adventure.

While not strictly disaster films.They all start with one, so I'm going to throw the Final Destination films into the mix

Last Breath is a real life drama/disaster.
Touching the Void is based on a true story, too.
Or try Open Water.

I like to then imagine what I might survive and what I wouldn't.. due to wearing contacts I'd be no good in castaway, or water/jungle based long length survival fears as I'd not be able to see.

The new Twister was okay.
