MISSING PERSON - To ask you all to memorise his face

Jack went missing in Bristol, Hotwells area on the 2nd of March after a house party. It’s been 18 weeks and no further clues.

The police have been useless and his family are now relying on word of mouth to get Jacks story out there

Has this been on the news? I hope he is found soon

US2gether · 07/07/2024 12:22

Gosh, that's a long time. It needs sharing, someone must know something

ThatVoodooThatYouDoooo · 07/07/2024 12:22

I would hate to be in the family's position, what a total actual nightmare

Thefaceofboe · 07/07/2024 12:24

Honestly apart from being part of the ‘find Jack’ facebook page, I’ve barley seen it anywhere apart from a few local sites such as Bristol live. I see groups of people still searching the area and it breaks my heart

I agree that poor family, what must they be going through.

Instead of some of the 'news' they gave on the BBC talking about strictly (if you like it you'll watch it anyway), celebrity stuff etc they should have 5 minutes of a quick round up of anyone missing, pictures and last sightings etc.

Thefaceofboe · 07/07/2024 12:33

I agree. I think the police seem to believe he went into the gorge, however the last cctv footage is him walking away from the water. His phone also pinged at an address near by as his last location but no one can confirm if it’s been searched or not. It’s so sad to think he’s been forgotten about

TheShellBeach · 07/07/2024 12:33

I'm so sad that Jack's family are still waiting for news of him.

TheaBrandt · 07/07/2024 12:35

Terrible. It has not been forgotten about in the mums of teens SM networks locally which is something I suppose.

DogsAndKidsAndSport · 07/07/2024 12:35

I really feel for his family and friends. Can only imagine their pain and also frustration.

DailyMailHater · 07/07/2024 12:36

I live locally and none of us can understand why it has had so little coverage - the Jay Slater case has been everywhere but no one is talking about Jack - his poor family it is awful and why there is no confirmation about the search of the address where his phone last was is shocking - hopefully it more and more people share on social media platforms more people will start to ask questions and we might get some answers

Queenofwistfulthinking · 07/07/2024 12:45

This breaks my heart for the poor poor family must be absolutely horrendous.

I think the Jay Slator case has had a particularly large amount of coverage because of its parallels with MM’s disappearance just a few days before.

Thefaceofboe · 07/07/2024 12:51

The Jay Slater disappearance just got taken over my daft conspiracies and became a big joke. I’m glad it’s not the case for Jack but if only people could share Jacks story and not stupid memes about Jay.

I was in Bristol last week and saw flyers for Jack everywhere. Having 2 adult DS myself I googled about him missing for more information, hoping that he’d been found.

I’d not seen anything about him on national news yet Jay Slater’s disappearance was everywhere at the time.

My thoughts are with his family and loved ones.

Approximately 170,000 people are reported missing each year in the U.K.

Yes, a large proportion of those are found safe and well in a short period of time but there's are thousands more who are not.

So - how would you choose who gets on the news or not? Difficult. The media will always pick the pretty, white ones.

Princessbananahamock · 07/07/2024 13:48

There is a video they made themselves which is doing the rounds on Facebook. It needs that video to go viral and on national news or papers.

Come on Daily Mail do a story use the video.

The road he was walking near is the Portway, this is a major route to get to Bristol Airport. It also has a CAZ camera just after the steep turn for Clifton, which would capture numerous cars going into the area he was last seen. People using Portway and long Ashton bypass on route to Airport etc may not be from Bristol and live far away and not heard of the missing lad. They may not have seen him themselves. However, if they have cameras on cars that might have captured his movements.

Yeah the video is really helpful to see, if anyone could help by sharing the video from the Facebook page that would be really helpful.

God, how awful. Praying he is found safe but after 18 weeks I doubt he is alive. Poor lad. Did they do a search of the water?

tuvamoodyson · 07/07/2024 19:34

Michael Mosley

I have joined the Facebook group and will share on some local pages to me. I’m Birmingham
