I really can’t tell. Younger than mine I think (I’m 43). I originally put 30 but I’m going to say 35. If this is the part of your body you are most worried about I think you must be in pretty good shape.

rumred · 17/05/2024 09:40

Early 40s? It's loads better than my shocker, it crept up on me. But then I'm 59.

Didimum · 17/05/2024 09:42

Late 30s, early 40s.

JustJoinedRightNow · 17/05/2024 09:42

I think about 36/7

SherlockHomies · 17/05/2024 09:44

Why are you asking?

It's just your neck and it looks like it's doing a decent job of holding your head on.

Stop picking yourself apart and concentrate on something worthwhile.

AROUNDagainCrazy · 17/05/2024 09:49

You might be able to see it better here, thank you for being so kind.

You are so right! I saw myself in a picture, and it bothered me. I have been under a great deal of stress, death in the family etc. I feel it has aged me in such a short space of time. It seems to be a dramatic change within a year. My husband lies, and tells me it looks fine. I thought I would come on here for honest opinions from people who don't know me.

Oh my god I just had a good look at mine to compare and didn't like what I saw! You're definitely younger than me, maybe 35?

I absolutely agree, while I didn't appreciate my lovely smooth neck in my youth I look at my neck now and try and be grateful for it not criticise myself.

Loubelle70 · 17/05/2024 10:02

Im not going to be guessing your age... too much pressure on women to be. My neck at 51 is pretty bad now...i hate it
..very aware of it..but...it is what it is. Menopause nearly. My turkey neck seemed to appear over night... you havent got one.

AROUNDagainCrazy · 17/05/2024 10:02

@MrsPelligrinoPetrichor I wish I could! Maybe I'll get there I time. The saggy middle bit has happened in under a year, can stress do this?! I don't know what has happened, but feel I have aged over night.

MsLuxLisbon · 17/05/2024 10:03

Sorry, I change my answer. 35?

And what if we all said it doesn’t look fine, or it looks like the neck of an 80 year old?

It would still be your neck and not worth your worry 🤷‍♀️

frankentall · 17/05/2024 10:05

Late 60s

AROUNDagainCrazy · 17/05/2024 10:06

@SherlockHomies you are completely right. I just feel paranoid about it and would rather know, even if it is unfavourable. I think if it had happened over the space of 5 years gradually, I could deal with it better. It has gone like this within months, after a very stressful event.

I think you're seeing something that isn't there. You have no wrinkles just a lovely smooth neck.

Tourmalines · 17/05/2024 10:09

It’s inevitable that it’s going to change as you age .

RickyGervaislovesdogs · 17/05/2024 10:10

90-🧐 just kidding!

There are exercises you can do- (no idea if they work)! But I don’t really know what you are looking at- it’s a neck. It looks fine to me. Drink lots of water, exercise, try and sleep and not get stressed if you can. If you are healthy, I honestly wouldn’t worry about your neck.

Solidlump · 17/05/2024 10:10

I wouldn't even hazard guess at your age from your neck but will say if mine looked as good as that I would be delighted.

Your thread put me in mind of years ago when the series Hill Street Blues was popular. There was a female officer with the most beautiful face which I always admired. My then DH - my Ex DH for various unpleasant reasons - used to say : oh but look at her neck. She's not as young as you think ( as though that was a crime) That was the first time I became aware of how the neck aged before the face and another reason why my then DH made me feel insecure.

I think it's natural to perceive changes in your own appearance and think it's noticeable to other people when in fact it's not.

Anyway your neck still looks good OP.

StealthIguana · 17/05/2024 10:11

It may just be me, but I don't know what's bothering you? The second post that's meant to give us a better view of the issue looks better than the first photos!
It looks like a normal neck, I can't see any sagging or anything unusual sticking out, no wrinkles, your skin looks like it's been well looked after... if I had to guess I'd say you're in your early to mid 30s.

AgentProvocateur · 17/05/2024 10:11

The same age as the rest of your body

Thank you for being so kind. It is the middle under my chin, it pulls down, I can feel it pull abit. This has happened so quickly.

It's a good neck! And I am observant. I'm 35 and feel like my neck is going bad suddenly! I put it down to looking down at my phone and the skin gathers like a witchety grub
