It's a good neck! And I am observant. I'm 35 and feel like my neck is going bad suddenly! I put it down to looking down at my phone and the skin gathers like a witchety grub

Haha yes, exactly I had a lot of stress, and then months later it happened. I feel if I hadn't have had the stress it may not have (not as quickly anyway). The middle under my chin pulls down and you can see it from the front, it looks worse in bright daylight, and from certain angles. I lost 2kg after a bereavement. I have since gained it back then noticed this. I'm trying to lose that again, but worry it'll just get worse!

So not that it matters, how old are you?

And I wouldn't say your husband is lying about it, I can see absolutely nothing wrong with it

Portfun24 · 17/05/2024 10:25

Late 30s

AROUNDagainCrazy · 17/05/2024 10:29

Thank you all for being far too kind. I will put my age at the end. My husband always lies, and diminishes my flaws, it is lovely, but I know he is lying!! I think I just feel old suddenly. Its not like you can disguise your neck!

30-40 years

MsLuxLisbon · 17/05/2024 10:39

Can you put your age now? This guessing game is a little annoying.

tennesseewhiskey1 · 17/05/2024 10:40

mid-40s- early 50's.

Totally

Gamerlady · 17/05/2024 10:44

I'm 43 and my neck looks older than yours, why do you even ask ? It's part of growing old and my neck is the least of my worries

I really can't tell if there are any signs of aging. It easily looks like 20s to me!

EvangelicalAboutButteredToast · 17/05/2024 10:46

Your neck is as old as the rest of your body. Only you know that.

Well -
I'm 30 and this is my neck - it's awful - so many surgeries.
Your neck looks fine and looks much younger than mine.
Definitely understand your neck anxiety though

How old is my neck??
AROUNDagainCrazy · 17/05/2024 10:54

@JamieJ93 your neck look great, the skin is so smooth and young, you have no pulling under the chin as I do. The scar isn't aging, that is a sign of your strength!

Seriously your neck does not look that old, I was going to say in your 20s! Just taken a selfie of mine and had a bit of a shock, but I'm late 50s and happy.

Loveablockheel · 17/05/2024 11:03

I’m mid fifties now and my neck upsets me, it’s ok if I don’t move but soon as I do turkey neck appears, I hate it, I’m thinking when I hit 60 I’m going for a lower face and neck lift.

Loveablockheel · 17/05/2024 11:04

Yours looks absolutely smooth and lovely OP, enjoy!

HaystackHair · 17/05/2024 11:04

30-40

OneFrenchEgg · 17/05/2024 11:22

This is mine and I'm 51 if that helps? Yours looks great, mine looks objectively terrible but subjectively I'm not dead which is a lot better than some friends and family managed by now. Don't fear ageing, welcome it. It means it's not over yet.

I really can’t tell. Younger than mine I think (I’m 43). I originally put 30 but I’m going to say 35. If this is the part of your body you are most worried about I think you must be in pretty good shape.

I'm a healthy weight. My dm tells me too thin, which I don't agree with, but that's a whole new thread. I'm a UK size 8-10. My lower stomach is flat, but has a million stretch marks, dc1 wasn't kind and ripped it apart, it looks awful. I have other things I definately hate about myself too. Dh thinks my standards are far too high. I think like a lot of women I'm struggling with getting older.
I have looked young for my age most of my life, got id-ed at 32 for a bottle of bucks fizz in Asda (true story). Now at 39 I'm definately looking my age, probably looking 40s. I blame stress!

For 51 your neck looks good! I know, what makes my vanity even worse is that this aging of my neck has occurred quickly after a bereavement. You would think this would have put a perspective on things, but I am evidently a hopeless case!

Why do men's necks not age much?? Does anybody know? Or do their beards disguise it?

Hmm, 15? No creases

😂 just a sagging bit of skin pulling down from the centre of my chin. Honestly I cannot believe how unappreciating of my skin I was when I was younger!
