How are you enjoying the sun today?

I dragged myself out of bed at 10, hung the washing out and then cleaned the bathroom for an hour. It's still not perfect and I cannot motivate myself to mop the floor. I've got loads of other cleaning and house stuff to do and I just cannot be bothered. What's everyone doing today to get out and about in the beautiful weather?

Just back from Parkrun (Parkwaddle for heavily pregnant me) and having a little lie down.

Contemplating going to the beach for a few hours this afternoon as it may be our last 'lie on a lounger with a book' opportunity for a long long time to come!

Currently sitting under a heat lamp at the hairdresser, but I see a G&T in the garden whilst doing a bit of weeding in my future.

It's not sunny here. Yesterday was gorgeous. Today is overcast.

Went for an early swim, put loads of washing out. Sat and had a coffee in the garden and am bow going to meet a friend for lunch. I suspect a vino in the garden later!

Washed and put washing put, next load in for when we get back, currently at the beach. Bbq and wine later.

H has hung out the washing and is digging out the compost bin (because it was falling over)

I'm sitting in the dining room looking at the sun on the back fence. Later on I might go and sit on the bench in the shade (if H clears up after himself) and look at the sun on the back fence.

I'm a classic redhead. I like seeing the sun.

I'm sitting in my garden flicking through SM, mainly looking at Northern Lights photos, with a coffee. Bliss ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
DS has even been persuaded out of his room and is doing some English lit revision on the patio

Sorry to be a wetblanket but I'm not particularly enjoying it.
Too warm to garden - gardening being my passion. And being on the Ayrshire coast anticipating an influx of anti social visitors into the town from Glasgow. Add the fact there is an Old Firm game kicking off shortly and it doesn't bode well.
So after a wee necessary trip into town I think I'll be watching the tennis from Rome for quite a bit of the day. Actually not a bad option because usually I'd be busy busy all day and now not being able to cope with warm weather gives a good excuse to be lazy.

I'm not.
I've got a cold and typing this from my bed.
DS has walked the dog.
DH and DD at the golf course, one playing and one working.

Can't believe I'm missing this glorious weather.

This is my first day off in nine days and I’m on the sofa under a blanket wearing a hoodie and woollen grandad socks.

I get cold when I’m tired.

Going to make a pizza later but for now, I rest.

Spent a nice morning in the garden and bought some new shrubs. DD15 and I had a lovely swim.

I’m now sitting at the top of a dry ski slope as DS12 decided today was the day to don full ski gear to practise his parallel turns 🙄

I’m 2 days post surgery and I have been lying on my sunlounger for several hours now. Trying not to burn but OMG the peace is so blissful

Been out early. Coffee outside at a lovely cafe with book club friends. Then home and out in the garden with a glass of rose’

Went out for breakfast sat outside without a jacket
Came home via the garden centre with a few new plants
Tidied up and planted a few pots outside, cleaned out the fish pond, did some weeding and am sat in the sun on MN whilst enjoying a cold drink before going and doing a bit more weeding

I'm spending the day planting out my tomato and chilli seedlings, and repotting patio plants that are outgrowing their current pots. Another redhead (faded) here, so I'm not spending more than 10 consecutive minutes outside - yes, I've burned in May before!

Now back at our holiday accommodation basking and MNing. I might possibly try to finish the book I started back in January. Pub dinner booked for early evening, we'll have a walk around the headland before or after.

We were meant to be going away next week but DH was keeping is eye on the long range forecast and we changed our plans - he's retired and my work was mercifully flexible in letting me change days.

I have done absolutely fuck all. I got up at 9, took a brew and a book out into the garden and have been sat here all day reading and watching the birds. Only come in to get more drinks and food. I plan to finish my book and not move for the remainder of the day.

I'm one of those people most of mn complain about because I don't like sunny hot weather. As is usual for me, the weather has brought on hay fever and a migraine 🙄

Apart from putting out my washing I've been mostly avoiding it with a cold dark mask on my face.
If the meds work, this afternoon when my garden is a bit more shaded I'll be weeding, ripping out some leggy old plants from their pots and prepping them ready for something new then sitting on the patio listening to the birds.
I really enjoy summer evenings but not the days so much!

We’ve been for a picnic on the beach and one of the kids got in the water. I’m going out in a bit to do a water-based sport and some exercise. Better than yesterday when working!

I got the housework and washing done first thing so now sat in the garden watching husband smoke a piece of brisket, listening to the radio, ideally would have a mojito in my hand but I have to taxi the DSC around tonight after we've had a BBQ
We'll have a fire in the this evening with Eurovision in the background

Did the washing now I'm lying in the dark trying to keep cool

We are at the seaside for the weekend.

We've had a wander round the local town followed by a coastal walk and drink in a quiet beer garden. Going out for fish n chips later 😁

I’ve spent several hours outside first dog walking then gardening and sitting in the sun listening to a podcast and knitting. Now indoors because it got too warm for me, the dog’s asleep in the middle of the floor. I will walk her again later.

Too hot and sticky for me, can't tolerate the heat. Got to help DH mow front garden and supposedly clear our crap from the back patio so we can move the table and loungers etc. Moved in 2 months ago and still not organised. Watching Eurovision tonight with a nice prosecco
