To think Tamara Ecclestone is the luckiest woman alive

2 healthy and happy children, adoring husband, lovely relationship with sister, health, all the money in the world. I follow her on instagram and she seems like a lovely mum.

Only slightly jealous that she's constantly taking her children all around the world during school holidays and always going to lovely places constantly. I do wonder why she posts on instagram so much though, surely, it's not like she needs the instagram advertising revenue.

Is she the luckiest woman humanity has ever seen?

I knew a girl who used to be her friend when she was younger and TE sounded pretty mean and awful. TE dumped this girl when she realised how rich she was as she got older.

I think that if you have are warm, safe and have your own bed to sleep in at night with enough food to fill your belly then you have so much more than the majority of the world does.

Obv life can be difficult not being able to make ends meet and afford what your kids need, but once you get beyond that (as TE clearly is!) those luxuries are unlikely to bring you much more happiness tbh.

She is lucky because she was born to extremely rich parents. I remember watching a programme about her years ago and she lives in a £70 million house in London that has 57 rooms.

newnamethanks · 16/04/2024 09:55

No OP, you are deluded. Not enough money in the world to compensate for the company she's obliged to keep.

I wouldn't want that. I have too many rooms in my semi! A couple of rooms we don't even use. Why on earth would I want 57 rooms? That's not lucky and it wouldn't make me happy. It's just pointless.

That's so not my definition of lucky, it's totally obscene imo

Yes I definitely agree, it is too much wealth for one person but I meant she is lucky to be born to parents who have set her up for life. She’ll never have money problems

Yes it’s too much, she has 50 members of staff that run her house and life. But she is lucky in the sense that she will never experience money worries.

ScubaDivingSpiderMonkey · 16/04/2024 10:55

Imagine being a family of 4 and having 40/50 staff in your home with you? Would be so bizarre. I wonder if they acknowledge them when they walk past them in the corridor or do they become like wallpaper.

Mazpaz · 16/04/2024 12:25

Who even is she lol

Goodluckanddontfitup · 16/04/2024 15:39

At the end of the day, I would not swap my life with hers, or anyone else’s. I want my husband, my kids, my family. Yes maybe she is lucky, maybe it’s all a show, I wouldn’t give up all I have for a few extra quid.

Middleagedspreadisreal · 16/04/2024 18:06

I'd be more impressed if she kept a low profile tbh

FeetLikeFlippers · 16/04/2024 18:08

Her life sounds a series of unbelievably tedious cliches. What’s the point of having enough money to do anything you want to in the whole world and then just copying what all the other rich people do?

CLTR82 · 16/04/2024 18:22

Tbh I doubt the luckiest person in the world (or the happiest) spends that much time on Social Media..
..

Yazzi · 16/04/2024 23:11

This thread is wild. It really seems that people need to believe other people are miserable or hiding dark secrets, and can't just be happy for them having presumably happy lives.

pimplebum · 17/04/2024 09:41

Her kids are at serious risk of being kidnapped for ransom and she will never know if people like her for her or her money celebrity

Her kids could turn out to have physical or mental health challenges same as any of us

Her husband could cheat on her her bIL was a bad guy

Growing up she had a much older dad who was absent a lot

Cancer etc affects 50% of us regardless

So no, I don't think she has a great life , I would imagine it's quite isolating and apart from money she has all the worries any person/ parent has so no guarantee of happiness at all

Sandwichblock · 17/04/2024 09:44

I don't know. Maybe things for her are different, maybe there's a reason she needs to do it, but the people I know who post their perfect lives often, are some of the unhappiest people.

EmeraldA129 · 17/04/2024 14:56

I had to Google who she is. I mean, because of her dads career she never has to worry about money, but that doesn’t mean everything in her life is rosey.

what makes her the luckiest woman alive?
