Princess Kate?

Internet is going nuts about it, the theories are insane.

Hope she’s ok

I hope we are not paying for this…..folks.

DappledThings · 29/02/2024 20:05

The number of posts suddenly incensed with the mere question - where exactly is she?
Because it's stupid. We were told she'd be out of action and resting till Easter. The idea that that hasn't changed meaning that either something's seriously wrong or it's a cover is just really odd. Why wouldn't you just assume what we were told would happen is happening?

MayThe4th · 29/02/2024 20:06

She doesn’t owe anyone an answer.

Where she is is in fact none of anyone else’s business. Her medical details are her’s and her’s alone.

And if you think that X is a reliable source of information then you need to question your intelligence.

Princess Kate? 🙄

You know that's not her name/title right?

😂😂😂😂😂

Paying for what? Her treatment and stay in a private hospital? I assume so, same as we pay for their security protection and all the other times they have been in hospital. Annoying but nothing new.

RosesAndHellebores · 29/02/2024 20:09

I imagine she's fucking about on MNet whilst stretching out on the sofa, at the same time as binge watching The Crown.

AllProperTeaIsTheft · 29/02/2024 20:09

I do not believe she is seriously ill. Why would you think that?

Confused Because she is having a prolonged absence from duties and has had abdominal surgery. Why have you decided she's not seriously ill? Do you have another conspiracy theory?

tkwal · 29/02/2024 20:09

My belief is that she had an ectopic pregnancy . The physical and mental repercussions of which would explain the length of both the hospital stay and the recuperation.
There are some seriously unhinged people / bored journalists( not mutually exclusive) out there going by some of the stories

It does make you wonder though, so many weird things with the RF at the mo

What weirder than the vile deviant Andrew?

That was my guess too, @tkwal - either that or she was expecting twins and has lost one/both.

However I am just wildly speculating and probably very wrong.

And it's none of my business, except to wish her a speedy recovery.

Oh dear god. Tell me you've got a chip on your shoulder without telling me...

Newchapterbeckons · 29/02/2024 20:13

This is just ridiculous.
Double time?

Newchapterbeckons · 29/02/2024 20:13

All these new posters - wow.

All these new posters - wow.

Or old posters with name changes, like most of us on here do.

Newchapterbeckons · 29/02/2024 20:16

Yes of course!! They all changed their names at once. Why didn’t I think of that. Silly me.

underthebun · 29/02/2024 20:17

I don’t think a prolonged absence is unusual, why do you? Abdominal surgery doesn’t mean seriously ill, why would you think that? I don’t think her sister would be in the Caribbean if she was seriously ill.

ExactlySo · 29/02/2024 20:17

The BBC are onto this on their online news- Home page.

They have also said that the Palace monitors social media - so watch what you post!

She is recovering from presumably major surgery.
Why should she appear to give some kind of 'message' to any of us?

The timeline was she would be out of the public eye till after Easter at least.

That brings it to the beginning of April.

Leave her alone!

Newchapterbeckons · 29/02/2024 20:17

Flooding the threads with nothing to see here folks. Kate is stretched out having a pedicure, reading Freud or hosting a tea party in windsor. Of course she is.

underthebun · 29/02/2024 20:18

They have always said that 3 children were the limit.
And the suggestions you make do not mean a 4-month recovery and 2 weeks in hospital.

AND the surgery was 'planned' - which boots your idea out of the water.

I had abdominal surgery and was out of action for three months. I’ve no idea if my work colleagues were debating as to whether I was on death’s door or anything though.

Newchapterbeckons · 29/02/2024 20:22

And yet she hasn’t managed even a two line statement to thank well wishers.

And if she is fine at home - why on earth does William need THREE months off?????

underthebun · 29/02/2024 20:22

@willWillSmithsmith were you seriously ill? I had my appendix removed before it was keyhole, I wasn’t seriously ill though. My CS advice was “do nothing for 3 months” but in the real world with a baby it’s not very practical.

Collywobblewobbles · 29/02/2024 20:23

And yet she hasn’t managed even a two line statement to thank well wishers

I wouldn't expect her to before she returns to work

underthebun · 29/02/2024 20:23

Clearly it’s a PR fail though.
