You’re still you but you have to live in a fictional tv show, which one and why?

Casualty!

I always fancied being a doctor.

Gray's Anatomy.

Over almost 20 series I believe, I've become invested in all the characters and their lives. I love Meredith I'd want to be her friend.

Also set in my fav place in the world - Seattle - so living there would be a joy.

Sad I'd have missed my chance with McDreamy though.

Emmerdale. Everyone knows everyone and helps each other out so you'd never be lonely. Lots of countryside, a corner shop, pub, cafe and B&B but the fictional town of Hotten with its shops and nightclubs is just a bus ride away.

I did consider Corrie but that's less green and more yards and ginnells (sp?) where nefarious acts are carried out!

Star Trek

Neighbours ❤️

Death in Paradise.

The weather and scenery will make the murder risk worth it!

theconfidenceofwho · 27/01/2024 20:03

Grey's Anatomy for me too or Big Little Lies if I could have one of their beachfront houses!

Some people are forgoing the 'you'd still be you' part.

The Detectorists

This or possibly Father Brown although there are quite a lot of murders. I love the aesthetic.

Stormysundaymorning · 27/01/2024 20:05

Midsummer murders. I want a little cottage. Don't want to be murdered though. I'll stay home

Eastenders. Quite fancy having such a convenient local.

Plus, as I'm still me I won't be directly involved in any of the drama, so can peacefully sip my drink/browse the trashy clothes on the market/order my chicken from McClunkeys whilst keeping half an ear out for all the gossip.

I like your thinking.

Definitely somewhere beautiful and hot.
Maybe Montelbano.
The food always looks amazing

Downton Abbey. I'd be a well-heeled cousin.

(I've spent way too much time thinking about it actually. )
