You’re still you but you have to live in a fictional tv show, which one and why?

Can I live in Gavin and Stacey please? They're all quite awful, really, but at least their hearts are in the right place...

Schitt’s Creek.

Yes. Especially if David was in the mood for white wine (or whichever way that works).

SecondHandFurniture · 27/01/2024 20:19

Sex and the City, with Charlotte's money.

Another vote for One Tree Hill!

Unfortunately I actually grew up in Brassic

Smallonesaremorejuicy · 27/01/2024 20:19

Wisteria Lane , If I couldn't be Gabrielle or Bree I would be a lover of the delectable Carlos !

FourLeggedBuckers · 27/01/2024 20:19

I’d say Shetland in the Perez days, but the chance of me being murdered is unnecessarily high.

Detectorists would be a lot safer…

ArnieLinson · 27/01/2024 20:20

Gilmore Girls -love the small town neighbourlyness of it. Id love to live there.
Modern Family - such good relationships
schitts creek - again, looks a great community to belong to.

Bewitched!

Jollyoldfruit · 27/01/2024 20:21

Signora Volpe or anything set in Tuscany.

Pebbles16 · 27/01/2024 20:22

Cheers, just sat in the corner having a wine (or two)

Cannotmakeitwork · 27/01/2024 20:23

Bluey

isawTheSkids · 27/01/2024 20:23

Poirot

KissTheRains · 27/01/2024 20:23

There's a cartoon on Netflix called Hilda.
I pick that.

It has trolls and elves and deeerfoxes and magic and it's just the best TV show ever made ever.

Or Bluey.
But I don't know how humans would be in Bluey world. 😁

Itsenoughnow · 27/01/2024 20:28

Virgin River for the fab scenery and wholesome neighbourliness of it all

Chichimcgee · 27/01/2024 20:30

The detectorists yes!
@WinterLobelia i thought downton but you have to be you so can’t be a cousin! As a single mum of 2 I’d likely be in the workhouse so figured maybe not!

Brookside.

PaulCostinRIP · 27/01/2024 20:30

Columbo and I would be the dog walker for his Bassett Hound and be a friend of Mrs Columbo and get to hear firsthand from Columbo himself about the crimes he solves.

SilverBranchGoldenPears · 27/01/2024 20:31

Gilmore Girls or on another day Gossip Girl

Chichimcgee · 27/01/2024 20:33

I’d quite fancy living in doctor who if I didn’t have children 🤔

Pliudev · 27/01/2024 20:33

Hamish Macbeth, Montalbano, Schitts Creek.

Janetsmug · 27/01/2024 20:35

Home and Away would be top of my list, Summer Bay looks gorgeous! 😊 And then Call the Midwife, All Creatures and Gilmore Girls in no particular order.

CaptainMyCaptain · 27/01/2024 20:35

I watched all of Gilmore Girls in lockdown and really hated those two women in the end. Loved Luke's diner though.

FUPAgirl · 27/01/2024 20:36

Friends! I want to hang out in Cemtrsl Perk and spy on the friends!

Call the midwife would be great if I wasn’t me, not qualified and with my kids I’d be in one of the really rough grotty flats I think lol

Another vote for Virgin River. Looks idyllic.

cauliflowerqueen · 27/01/2024 20:38

I came to say Gilmore Girls, and I'm not surprised it's a popular choice! It seems like such a comfortable, friendly world, with plenty of whimsy and quirkiness to keep things entertaining.

I'd like to be a member of Poirot's inner circle, but if I have to be myself that probably wouldn't work out so well.
