Some people who actually know them are sympathetic.

Some people who don’t know them indulge in some soppy attention seeking nonsense on social media.

A few attention seekers, who want to be different from the soppy attention seekers, say something horrible.

The soppy attention seekers pretend to be outraged.

Normal people, feel sympathetic, may discuss with friends, family & colleagues, but don’t feel the need to post on social media because they’re not attention seekers.

She been supporting her whole family and working.
Now she’s a single mother still trying to do the above.
