No one said she was . She has been trending on Twitter for other things as well , not just this. Not every single thing she says is this bad , or a lie. Let's be honest Kate has cashed in on this at every opportunity and I have no doubt she'll continue to do so. Draper wasn't exactly squeaky clean either so I don't understand why we are suddenly putting this couple on a pedestal. Yes what happened is terribly sad for all involved but as a pp said, it was uncomfortable at times watching the footage Kate was releasing. Katie Hopkins is entitled to an opinion regardless of people agreeing with her or not, I don't necessarily agree with her on this but I also don't understand the hype around Garraway and Draper either after all he did in his career.

If famous people hadn't had their Long Covid plastered all over the papers, even fewer people would believe it exists. So the publicity should help all those thousands of unknowns who have it in a very small way. And people will see the financial predicament two relatively wealthy people have got into because of it.

Also a bit of a bully, the way she had a go at Keith Chegwin on big brother, just because he wasn’t being an argumentative, confrontational prick like almost everyone else, so she thought he was boring and had to berate him in a nasty way for that. On the other hand, she doesn’t seem to care what anyone says or thinks of her at all, so might think everyone else is the same.

I'm sorry somebody died at a relatively young age. But I don't understand why it was constantly in the news about his long illness. If it was some sort of campaign to publicise the effects of long Covid I'd understand but that didn't seem to be the case.,

@Ulysees he was part of a plot to set up a fake blog spreading rumours and lies about politicians. Then there was the lobbygate scandal where he was caught on tape bragging how he could sell access to government ministers and create tax breaks for people, that got him sacked. He then retrained as a psychotherapist but got his membership withdrawn from the BACP for an alleged email scandal.

He has a very chequered past and had no problem with creating lies about other people, pretty much like Hopkins has done to his wife regarding the book and documentary. I can't have any sympathy for him or Kate but I do feel for the children in all of this but with a past like his it was obvious that people would have opinions and be vocal about them both. I'd also question how Kate has any impartiality as a broadcaster on breakfast tv when his links with the Labour party were so strong but that's another story.
