I know she's outspoken but how can she joke about that? Mind boggles.

I saw the video of her sipping wine and pretending to laugh, not about his death but about how, according to her, his wife is exploiting it. She also claims to believe in all this anti-vax stuff. It's political point scoring. The impression I got was that she doesn't necessarily believe what she's saying - it's the persona she's playing. But the fact that she's comfortable playing that role means she's a horrible person.

Also His physiotherapy businesses were shut down owing massive amounts of tax from unpaid VAT and PAYE charges.

Against the grain- KH is actually a guilty pleasure of mine. I don’t agree with some of what she says and making fun of someone who has died and their grieving relatives is a no from me, so don’t agree with her there.
But she’s outrageously outspoken and sometimes I find her extreme views relatable- even if she puts it in an extremely harsh way. Not this time though.

Derek Draper was a deeply dodgy character - I never understood why KG was with him - but she obviously did love him very much and attacking her right after his death is, in my view, unfair.

Its not news that she is hideous. Its how she makes money. She will be loving threads like this as it supports her business model

But she speaks the truth about her. KG has gone on like she is the only person ever that has had to care for someone. There will undoubtedly be a book, and interviews about life as a widow in the same vain like she’s the first ever to experience it. Now I’m a widow and do think there needs to be so many more conversations about this, but not her with her celebrity status.

And what is a completely different matter - Kate Garraway should remove herself from the pity-party publicity gravy train she's riding. It is getting self-indulgent and tedious and the majority of the publicity has a definitive financial angle. She "might" have to sell her 4 million pound mansion... Oh no. How will she cope. I hope the fundraiser helped to stay afloat.

I disagree that Kate Garraway is on a pity-party. Naturally, she is devastated at her husband's death and she has poured every ounce of her being into supporting and caring for him since he fell ill. Lots of people are interested in their journey and, having read both her books on the subject and watched the documentaries she made (with his consent, which is a key point), I have never seen any self-pity on her part at all. Yes, she has had periods where she's fallen down but bloody hell, who wouldn't? She has shone a light on the dreadful state of continued health provision for severely impacted people in this country. She writes very well and she's always made the point that she/they are one of many others suffering similarly.

Katie Hopkins is a bitch.

Hopefully her kids will get their revenge for all the embarrassment she's caused them by writing a tell all "Mommy Dearest" type book. They deserve some compensation

KH is a waste of oxygen. I feel similarly about PM.
KG has just lost her husband. Nobody in that position (newly widowed) should be up for ridicule.
Whether they made money from the TV shows & she'll continue to make money by way of a book/documentary is her choice. It's a legal way to make a living and will obviously have an audience or why would they bother?
I don't know a lot about Derek. I expect all the nasty/salacious stories will be doing the rounds. Or wait for KH next round of vitriol

I know it's not your point, but I don't think anyone is immune. If she wanted to say something about them two or somebody else, she would. Although saying that, she is a mum, so I wonder sometimes if she is holding back. I wonder how her kids feel.

I don't follow what Kate Hopkins gets up to but it must be atrocious if even people like Piers Morgan and Dom Joly think she's out of order! Reminds me of the time Zoë Wanamaker says the cast rejected some of the scripts for My Family as they weren't any good... how dreadful must they have been to get rejected, surely they can't be any worse than the ones that got through.
