Booked Magaluf holiday for family??

I have lived in the UK for the last 10 years, I never heard Magaluf has a bad reputation. I booked an all-inclusive family holiday in a resort in October ,about 500m from the main Magaluf beach.
While I was researching I found that this town has a really bad reputation. Please reassure me, or do I need to get this changed?
I am very stressed out.

I have only paid a deposit at 1 am this morning.

That’s a good idea, OP. You’re just using the hotel as your base.

Seven nights for £2300 is bargain and is all all-inclusive and no limit on alcohol on t&c. I ‘m optimistic as it will be first year of the hotel, and they will try to ensure people have good service.
Also this hotel aims to change the reputation for Magaluf, and to attract premium tourism. This gives me some hope.
