He seems too have big anger issues on I'm a Celeb. AIBU? It's been a rubbish show this year. I don't think I'll watch it again.

I think Tony is coming across really well. People may not know but he is an Evertonian and has been very discriminatory about people from his home town who happen to support a different football team. Saying some quite horrible things that would be classed as racist or misogynistic if he used the same words against black people or women. It looks like he has grown past that (or at least his agents have told him to rein it in).

Sam is nice but exceptionally annoying (yes he has ADHD but manages to hold down a job and have a successful media career so presumably is quite capable of keeping control of himself when he needs to and isn’t trying to win votes 🙄)

Again Nella must surely be heeding her agent’s advice and being provocative to make the public notice her (as the least famous person in camp) as surely a person can’t be that annoying and self assured in real life.

smileannie · 03/12/2023 22:48

i thought Tony looked different last night. It’s probably due to weight loss and shaving his tache off at end of Movember.

QueenBean22 · 03/12/2023 22:50

i haven’t noticed any anger issues in trials? Can you give an example?

Mumtofourandnomore · 03/12/2023 23:31

My children and I sat behind Tony at an airport in the summer, literally the world and his dog came up to him and asked him for a selfie/autograph. The guy was lovely, so patient and was friendly and polite with literally everybody - he must have the patience of a saint !

I think it’s sad all of the things people are saying about Sam. He hasn’t got any bad intentions at all and has openly spoke about how he really craves acceptance. He has adhd and autism and a lot of the things people are putting him down for are linked to his ND.

Just because he has ADHD & autism doesn't mean people have to be accepting of irritating behaviour, no matter the cause.

His ND doesn't trump others right to a calm environment.

FreshWinterMorning · 03/12/2023 23:39

100% agree @tomatoontoast I can't stand Sam, and agree with everything you say.

FreshWinterMorning · 03/12/2023 23:40

Also pissed off NELLA stayed, but it looks like she was second from bottom.

5 votes for NIGEL tonight (to stay!) from me! Grin

Eh? Anger issues? He seems like a very calm and controlled person, the exact opposite of anger issues?
He looks like an exasperated dad when Sam comes near him, probably because Sam is the single most irritating prick ever seen on television. Never heard of him before I’m a celeb and I’m amazed that he has a job in the media.

People are being harsh on Sam. He has fucking adhd. He's hyper and in your face yes. That doesn't make someone a prick.

Would people say autistic people are annoying?? I'm autistic btw.

DropDeadFreida · 04/12/2023 00:24

@blackfluffycat why doesn't Sam jump on and cling to Frankie or Nigel or Nella or Fred or anyone else the way he does with Tony? It's about a lack of regard for another person's boundaries. He has even been told by the other campers to calm down a bit with Tony and yet he carries on. Having ADHD or autism does not excuse his behaviour which seems to be heavily targeted at one person.

I can see why Tony would be irritated by Sam. I just can't understand why people are calling him a prick for being hyperactive.

Someone can have autism and still be a prick.

I’m not saying he’s an irritating prick because he has adhd. The two don’t go hand in hand. You jumped to that conclusion all by yourself.
I have adhd and Asperger’s btw.

ChocolateCakeOverspill · 04/12/2023 06:35

I quite like Sam’s energy but can see how it would be annoying to be constantly on the receiving end of. He adores Tony and makes a beeline for him and Tony has done brilliantly to stay so calm because it’s the opposite of him.

I haven’t noticed any aggression, some jokey role play of being angry in the trials perhaps but that’s all it was.

blackfluffycat · 04/12/2023 07:09

@Xx1000xX Of course but I don't think he's doing's anything in a conniving or nasty way.

pinkfony · 04/12/2023 20:59

I don't think Tony is angry, if anything he's mildly amused because he has 4 sons and Sam probably reminds him of his kids.

What do you all think of Fred? I think he's a nice man (a lot nicer than Nella) but he reminds me of a silly old sod that's stuck in his ways.

Farage I have to say amuses me the way he speaks to the camera in the diary room or whatever it's called. He actually comes across quite well for someone i didn't particularly like before hand.

Danielle I'm not sure on, I wouldn't trust her. Seems like she would always talk about you behind your back to get in with people, and wouldn't worry about stirring the pot.

Nella, I don't like. She reminds me of the loud girl at school that everyone was affraid to upset or get on the wrong side of.

Josie I love, she's genuine. Sam I love too, lovely guy. I hope they make the top 2!
