He seems too have big anger issues on I'm a Celeb. AIBU? It's been a rubbish show this year. I don't think I'll watch it again.

But is 'anger bubbling under the surface' a bad thing? Everyone gets angry, he's away from his family and living with strangers, hungry, being covered in offal and bugs. Should he not be angry?

Fred on the other hand, in my opinion, purposely threw those stock cubes in the fire because he was annoyed. He also threw all of the dishes on the floor because they weren't clean enough. Imagine your own DH doing that? Imagine the reply's if someone started a thread on here to 'I have to wash dishes in a literal pond and I might have left them a bit dirty, DH saw the washed dishes and threw them all in the mud because he was unhappy AIBU?'

If anyone has anger issues, it's Fred in my opinion.

theconfidenceofwho · 03/12/2023 15:02

That's true @meltingpott - i also think he threw the stock in the fire deliberately.

funbags3 · 03/12/2023 15:03

@meltingpott I think Fred has control issues. He's not doing well at all. I like the bloke from Hollyoaks. Forgotten his name.🙄

Suddenlychrimbo · 03/12/2023 15:08

Tony Bellow actually has an 'anger' based pod cast, its quite good.

Anyway, YABU watching a programme who's producers have paid £1.5m to a racist .

I can't believe anyone is going anywhere near it.

Createausername1970 · 03/12/2023 15:13

I am warming to Tony. Wasn't sure who he was as I am not interested in boxing. I haven't noticed him getting "angry" in the trials. He gets vocal and I think that's his way of overcoming his fear/anxiety/phobias.

The only one I am struggling to have any empathy for is Nella. I can't decide if she is playing a game and deliberately trying to get more airtime to promote herself, or if she is actually that obnoxious and self obsessed in real life. I think it's the latter.

Did she even shift her arse out of the bed to greet Tony back from his trial and congratulate him on getting so many stars. As camp leader she should have been there.

Ponoka7 · 03/12/2023 15:18

People are projecting and showing bias. Look up what Nigel has said about Liverpool, football fans and then you've got immigration and his use of half black to describe people like Tony. Tony grew up in Toxteth, here in Liverpool. He's an Everton supporter (but we won't hold that against him) and a boxer. He's everything Garage despises. Sam's behaviour isn't ok, I say that as someone who has a child with severe ADHD. Tony is being massively restrained. It's strange how his perceived moods are being held up as bad, yet the other contestants actual bad/over dramatic behaviour aren't. Check your bias.

FreshWinterMorning · 03/12/2023 15:27

KnickerlessParsons · 03/12/2023 14:28

The biggest nobs in there are Nigel, Fred and Nella.

I really don't get the angst towards Nigel. What's he done to upset people? He's done lots of tasks - most of them well - and he hasn't said anything to offend people whilst he's in the jungle.
Not agreeing with someone's political views doesn't make them a nob. (His political views aren't all that non ish anyway).

(Some) people don't like Nigel, becuz Breggzit! 😬

No matter what he does or doesn't do, or how good bad or indifferent he is, or how nice or mean, or sweet or sour he is; in the eyes of some, he is a demon becuz Breggzit! 😬

I like him.

RUNS AND HIDES! ..............! 🏃

This. 👏

DropDeadFreida · 03/12/2023 15:33

I think Tony has been incredibly restrained. In his shoes I would have probably punched Sam by now. Constant shouting in his face, climbing all over him, constantly hugging and touching him and he even farted next to him the other day when Tony was eating! I would honestly have gone to the producers and asked them to have a word with Sam about respecting other people's boundaries because it's clear that Tony is uncomfortable.

PTSDBarbiegirl · 03/12/2023 15:41

Mybatteryisoutofcharge · 03/12/2023 14:09

Maybe just me then. During some of the trials he has snapped pretty easily. I can see that Sam would wind him up but he has ADHD so is naturally going to be pretty energetic. I've really warmed to Sam but there's something about Tony that makes me feel uncomfortable and I think it's how easily he flairs up.

Sam is irritating AF.
His diagnosis doesn't mean he has to behave like a demanding, self centered 2 year old.
I watched TB on SAS Celebrity a few years ago and he was broken quickly. He really struggled and seemed to have poor mental health and a terrible childhood, which explained alot. He seems to have moved forward positively, esp tolerating Sam. Many, including me would have reacted very negatively to Sam, anyone else with ADHD or even ASD for example may not tolerate Sam, however nice he is.

Iwantmyoldnameback · 03/12/2023 15:43

I don't agree with Nigel about - we'll anything really and didn't watch at the start because I thought it would be all about him. I finally succumbed after reading a few things and to my shock (and horror) he isn't the worst person in there.
I have never seen such a rude, lazy, ignorant "girl" as Nella, and her two sidekicks are doing themselves no favours either.
I quite like Tony but I'm voting for Nick cos he needs the support.

But, but... Nella is just an iccle gurrrrrrrrl. Sad

funbags3 · 03/12/2023 14:31

I think he's very good at swallowing his anger down. You can see it bubbling under the surface though. I have to say I am hyper-vigilant around people with anger issues though as I grew up with one.

Agree. He hasn't been aggressive but you can tell he is trying very hard to keep a lid on it.

shamelesss · 03/12/2023 15:47

Hopefully they’ll start to give Nick and Marvin a bir more air time

TooBusyGazingAtStarss · 03/12/2023 15:48

I love Tony. I particularly like the Sam/Tony relationship. Kills me 🤣

Yeah Nigel is all right isn't he? Not being left wing and wanting to come out of the EU, and wanting to control our borders, doesn't make him a nasty evil person, or a nasty bigot who hates everyone not British. And it doesn't make him a racist.

The fact that Nigel seems a lot more popular than left-wing Nella is amusing me greatly ... Grin And yeah Nella is a lazy, entitled, little princess who thinks the world revolves around her!

I think she is coming to the realisation now though that she is disliked by the public, with her being voted for so often to do the trials! 😬

I dislike Fred too. His banging on about Brexit really pissed me off. Let it go man. It's been nearly 4 years since we left the EU, and 7 and a half years since the referendum.

MrTiddlesTheCat · 03/12/2023 15:53

I think he deserves a medal for his patience and control. I'd have fed Sam to the crocs by now.

stomachameleon · 03/12/2023 16:00

Agreed. It's clear Sam's 'bestie' Pete wicks deserves a knighthood for putting up with him. No wonder he looks so miserable all the time.

HYDEY55 · 03/12/2023 16:04

Sugarfish · 03/12/2023 13:52

I actually think the opposite, seems genuinely nice and I think he’s being very controlled especially with Sam who is clearly doing his head in. I didn’t think I’d like him when he first came in but he’s one of my favourites now.

Same

shamelesss · 03/12/2023 16:06

Nella is acting like a lazy princess I agree but I disagree that people shouldn’t still hold a grudge against Nigel for brexit when it is still having an effect on peoples lives today!
And last nights bragging about how easy they’ve got it with in the House of Lords with Cheques everyday and heavily subsidised food was really in poor taste considering people are really struggling with buying food and fuel to heat their homes this year!

BiggerBoat1 · 03/12/2023 16:07

Makes me laugh that people talk about Brexit being in the past. We are living it now! Good on Fred for holding Farage to account.

MammaTo · 03/12/2023 16:09

lollo8 · 03/12/2023 14:37

Tony seems nice, down to earth. I like masculine men though.

Sam is utterly insufferable. Switched off as I find him too irritating to watch.

Yeah I feel the same.

Sam is like a toddler and it’s such an unattractive quality.

But as far as I know Farage isn't in the HOL and so wasn't bragging just telling how it is. It's something that needs changing - Farage the whistle blower who'd have thought it?

HappyHamsters · 03/12/2023 16:33

It wasn't Nigel who mentioned the 5p toast, wasn't that Nick?
