Is this part of the settlement or is this to do with campaign funds and spending on legal fees?

I know there are strict regulations on how actual campaign donations are spent, but not sure how it works for 'legal funds' which are donated to separately.

I love E Jean Carroll for deciding to spend the majority of the money Trump will be compelled to give her on setting up homeless shelters and shelters for abused women as close to next door as can be managed to Trump's properties. I know my knowledge is superficial but I am at a loss to understand why Imran Khan can be jailed for 10 years for 'leaking official secrets' yet Trumpy who has stolen classified documents and undoubtedly done the same repeatedly... is running for POTUS.

Months into his presidency Trumpy revealed state secrets to Russian officials in the Oval office, causing huge problems with the CIA who had to remove one of their men because of this. He even tweeted classified photos of spy satellite pictures of Iran. At MarALardo dining area he disclosed classified information to anyone who would listen. He's revealed code word intel meaning huge security threats to the US. He tells anyone where US submarines are. And more

There was a lot of reporting a while back that the GOP vote was probably going to be depressed because a lot of MAGA types - never known for their affinity for effort - had swallowed the idea that the system was rigged and decided there was no point in voting if what Trump said was true.
