Been watching the series on Netflix and really like her, she seems smart and strong and puts up with a lot. The only thing I don’t understand is allowing the kids to go to Tyson’s fights, he even says he doesn’t want them there.
Has anyone else seen the series?
it’s made me really intrigued about the traveller lifestyle and how things must be for females

Didn't they just go to one fight? And the reason she let them was because even though she didn't want them to, for all she knew that could have been the last chance they'd ever get to see their dad fight.

It's a difficult predicament and I could understand it. Of course you wouldn't want them to go but from the childrens perspective as they become adults it could be one of their greatest regrets in life that they never got to see their dad actually fight properly and experience fight night for real themselves.

aren’t his fights filmed? They can still experience it and visualise it once they’re older. It’s not wiped off the planet

I once taught a female cousin of Tyson Fury’s. She hated him for the way he treated his wife (and women in general). It’s a tv show. It’s showing them 8n the best light possible.

You really think a reality TV program is going to be an accurate depiction?

A quick Google of Tyson Fury is enough to show you what he's really like.

I don't think it's that bad. She doesn't have a bond with the dog and because he's difficult she will be relieved when he's gone, she's just being honest. It's probably very well cared for and I doubt she is planning on offing him.

I think he comes across as a bit of a misogynistic knuckle dragger really.

And if a woman went on the Relationships topic and said she had 6 kids to a man who 'jokes' a woman's place is in the home, and boasted publicly of having sex with over 500 women, she'd be slaughtered and told to LTB within the first post.

The dog is not a pet. She is a guard dog and stays outside.

When Tyson's fed up of being in the house he says he has to check on the dog, feed her, walk her.

Her often stays home / goes home early and uses the dog as an excuse.

I think this is possibly what Paris meant. I've not watched the clip though.

Still not nice to wish the death on an animal.

I remember reading her book and I’m sure that she had some kind of education herself after she had finished school at 11, possibly at a college or community centre, so I would imagine that her daughters may continue with some form of education too

I found it difficult to reconcile the talk about the daughter being a career girl if she wanted that and the fact she’s been taken out of education. It was very contradictory.

I loved it. My family are travellers and I work in the justice system. They are treated terribly by most of the public so I think it's great fo have such food role models. They both seem to be great parents... I wish I had their caravan too! Loved the trip they did on a school night with Tyson to the nearby camp haha. I suppose given that it's his career and ahuge part of his identity/mh composure letting the kids go to the fights shows them what daddy's small goals that he mentions are building towards and that he is being productive in managing his mh how he best knows to do so so I do approve of it.

People really are commenting on her being amazing and a great role model based off the fact she’s been treated like dog shit off her husband and stayed with him, he’s had how many affairs behind her back? All the drugs and the drinking

Its so sad that to get the “wow what a real one” comments you have to sacrifice your own happiness and mental health and become a rehabilitation unit for a man.

You seem to approve of them for very superficial reasons.

Tyson is a prick. Putting aside his mental health issues etc he's still a prick who swans in and out of family life when he feels like it. I wasn't aware of the cheating before this thread.

Paris basically never seems to know what the hell is happening although I'm sure it's all exaggerated.

I don't really like her either, some comes across as really cold and hard and is just always shouting. Both of them shouting constantly at each other and the poor kids.

Watched the last episode and with all that was going on (the boxing that I don't give a shit about) the thing that struck me was with all that fucking money, the kids were eating packet pasta and sauce on paper plates. Shit and wasteful.
