Just starting a thread now in case codes start coming out at midnight or something crazy! I’m already nervous, can’t imagine what it’ll be like trying to get tickets!

When people start getting codes, update and let us know when they arrived and how you got them?

@InOtherWords Ive also just got emails saying I’m waitlisted for two locations. As they were due before midnight yesterday, wonder what’s happened?

Harrythehappypig · 15/07/2023 18:09

I emailed Ticketmaster as I got no email at all and at the same time as I got a reply this afternoon I also got a wait list email.

JustLurkingAway · 15/07/2023 19:02

Interesting I just got an email to be waitlisted for Liverpool

Merula · 16/07/2023 08:23

I'm so confused! Does a code mean you get early access? We are trying for Cardiff and have a code and so were going to log in on Wednesday 18th June. So when is the general sale for those who don't have a code?

There isn't one, this is the general sale as it were. The pre sale has already happened, codes were given for the general sale to manage demand and stop the system crashing! Good luck, I got tickets for Cardiff in the presale and can't wait, prices were reasonable too. Did you get AXS or Ticketmaster?

The code you have now is for the general sale. Good luck 😊

Thanks for your reply. So what is the advantage to having a code? Can anyone log in to the general sale?

There were two tiers to the sale. Anyone who pre ordered the Midnight album received a pre sale code and was able to buy tickets in the pre sale last week which is now closed.

For the general sale, everybody who wanted tickets had to register. Only a percentage of those who registered have received a code for the general sales which start next week. You can only try and buy tickets in the general sale if you have a code.

BUT loads of people with presale tickets will have also received codes for the general sale which they may not use so those coded should then be redistributed for people who registered but didn’t get a code first time.

Do we think most people with a Midnight's code got tickets?

Mydogisamentalist · 16/07/2023 10:04

I used two different email addresses and got a code for Edinburgh with one and a code for Cardiff with the other.

I need two tickets and ideally want Cardiff but Edinburgh goes on sale first and I would travel if absolute need be.

Does anyone know if I can try for two for Edinburgh and then another two for Cardiff? Will my tickets be cancelled due to the same address being used at check out? The Edinburgh code is through AXS and Cardiff through Ticketmaster.

If by some miracle the ticket gods are kind to me and I somehow manage get tickets for both I’ll sell the Edinburgh ones for what I paid.

Yes as far as I know

Everyone I know who had a Midnights presale code managed to get tickets in the end.

Most people I know didn't get a general sale code though, they just got put on the waiting list.

Pre sale was pretty smooth though, so hopefully it'll be the same for people in the general sale.

Taylorswiftly23 · 16/07/2023 10:12

ContractQuestion · 16/07/2023 10:01

Yep it seems so and there were still actually loads of decent priced seats left late into the pre sale-DD logged in again with another code purely out of nosiness and there were loads of seat options late in the evening.

ContractQuestion · 16/07/2023 10:14

Oh that's interesting!

I bought same time as presale (disability) but so many disabled people didn't get tickets and were disappointed. A shame they didn't up the allocation.

And yes hardly anyone I know has general sale tickets.

ContractQuestion · 16/07/2023 10:14

Codes I mean

Beachhutnut · 16/07/2023 10:26

I am on the waiting list. If I don't get a code can I still try in the general sale or do I need a code for that?

you will not be able to buy tickets without a code.

AndIKnewYouMeantIt · 16/07/2023 10:37

The easiest way of explaining it (I'm used to this with Liverpool tickets for the football 😄) is that - say the 14 million people who registered logged onto Ticketmaster at the same time. The website would die. They'd rather a couple of million with codes logged on to duke it out for 800 000 tickets. Numbers made up but an example.

ContractQuestion · 16/07/2023 10:40

Beachhut- the waiting list is for a code for the general sale.

You can't buy in the general sale without a code. So most people are on a waiting list.

unicornpower · 16/07/2023 14:25

Can someone who has a Wembley code for tomorrow report back here about how it went and if it was a ticketmaster crashing shitshow? I have my code for Liverpool on Tuesday! Is it true you shouldn’t have multiple browsers open? I’ve always done that before so don’t want to mess up!

Yes only have one browser open or you can get kick if because it thinks you are a bot.

thebellagio · 16/07/2023 19:05

OK just to be clear - can someone help me for tomorrow?

Me and Hubby both codes via AXS for Wembley - either Friday 21 June or Thurs 15 August (all on sale tomorrow) with one code, and the other code is for Sat 22 June or Friday 16 August (on sale on Tuesday)

We have set up our AXS accounts - am I right that we can't presave our payment ccard like we can on Ticketmaster?

I know we need to log in at least 30 mins before and enter the code.

My question is how do I select the tickets - I assume that it pre-selects for you, but how do you set your pricing limit and what are the prices?

If I'm looking for Wembley, what is the P1/P2/P3 pricing that people have talked about?

I think my limit is £150per ticket, I only need 3 tickets, and we only want to go to one date, so the code I don't use will be reverted back to the waiting list.

With this price limit, what price level am I looking for?

thebellagio · 16/07/2023 19:06

Also, how do I make sure I get seatedtickets and not standing? I know we can't go on the pitch because my 9yo will be with us, so how do I make sure I'm choosing a seated ticket?

fuckmyuteruslining · 16/07/2023 19:21

It's clear which are seated and which are standing tickets. It will show you a series of options with a price range, you click on that, say how many tickets you want and then it either says it has seats or it doesn't and you have to go back and pick again. It is clear what's seated. Standing tickets were the ones that went first. Tbh I wouldn't worry too much about side view. It's about being there, so many people won't be. Any ticket is great.
