Taylor codes- Are you ready for it?

Just starting a thread now in case codes start coming out at midnight or something crazy! I’m already nervous, can’t imagine what it’ll be like trying to get tickets!

When people start getting codes, update and let us know when they arrived and how you got them?

Ah yes sorry, yes registered through website 😊

Your code doesn’t expire unless you buy four tickets. I think I’ve understood correctly that you could theoretically buy two for Edinburgh and two for London.

No this won't work-you can get up to 4 tickets with your midnights presale code, but only for one venue you can't split them.

If you don't get tickets your code is still valid to keep trying until you do for any night.

SellFridges · 05/07/2023 09:04

Sorry, I meant the normal code. Midnights codes are different.

Freshair1 · 05/07/2023 09:15

God. I'm so confused. And young. In the best way....

TaylorTickets · 05/07/2023 10:05

Has anyone heard anything yet? I’m getting confused about what’s happening when

I was under the assumption that today we would receive an email from Ticketmaster saying yes you are eligible to buy a max of 4 tickets, or no you haven't been selected, you are on the waitlist.

I'm assuming that your code is based on your pre-selected locations - so because I only selected London, I shouldn't be able to buy tickets to another location. Surely that's the only way they could feasibly manage the demand?

That’s what I am expecting.

amusedbush · 05/07/2023 10:52

I didn't sign up for a Ticketmaster code, I'll be getting a Midnights code.

I have just checked the T&C in my email and it says "the pre-sale access code can only be used once" so I'm glad I checked. I'll hold out for Edinburgh tickets when they go on sale on Tuesday.

MarioFart · 05/07/2023 11:00

Has anyone had a ticket master email yet? (Not the Midnights code).
Keep checking emails!!

Emelene · 05/07/2023 11:02

No Ticketmaster email for me yet!

JustLurkingAway · 05/07/2023 11:05

So, awaiting a ticketmaster email to say I've either been waitlisted or I'll receive a link for the presales w/c the 17th, then will receive a code from midnights presale end of this week for Monday morning...is that right?!

TaylorTickets · 05/07/2023 11:11

@JustLurkingAway yes I think so! I’m hoping people will post if/when they get the email so we know it’s due!

OP posts:
thebellagio · 05/07/2023 11:12

I'm assuming it could take several days for the emails to arrive - I think their system got completely overloaded, hence it took several days to receive the confirmation emails that we'd even registered for the ticketmaster sale.

TaylorTickets · 05/07/2023 11:18

@thebellagio im optimistically believing that they’re going to have their shit together to avoid the embarrassment and an email will be sent out today 😂

I'm nearly 53 and pretending I'm just here for the teen daughter...

ChangeNameagain2 · 05/07/2023 11:27

Jeep checking between my email and this thread. Nothing yet. Good sign that no one has one yet though!

Allotment123 · 05/07/2023 11:58

I think we should ask camp out like tickets for Wimbledon then bots can't but thousands and only those who really want it bother

PuppyPerson · 05/07/2023 12:19

I thought it was the Midnight's presale codes that were coming today? And the Midnight's presale tickets that are for sale from 10am next Monday?
I'm registered with Ticketmaster as well anyway... Oh man it's so confusing 🤷.
Either way I've not received any emails...

Midnights presale codes are tomorrow + Friday - you have to let them know if you didn't receive one by Friday evening 😊

Today is meant to be the ticket master next steps email if you registered for the verified general sale!

Iwasfeelingepic · 05/07/2023 12:31

Love the title of the thread.
Still waiting, not so patiently though, I feel really nervous looking at my emails, I have everything crossed that I get a code.
Good luck to everyone waiting.

TaylorTickets · 05/07/2023 12:37

@InOtherWords im not sure how old we have to be to pretend we are going for our kids, but mine is definitely too young to take! I’m going for me!!! If I get a bloody code, obviously!

I’ve been and put my Taylor Tshirt on for luck!

I'm dreading even more the fun that is trying to get wheelchair accessible tickets 😭 London and Liverpool you need to phone, but it's not clear when and edinburgh and Cardiff are through Ticketmaster, which never works for accessible from experience!

ChangeNameagain2 · 05/07/2023 13:18

Just seen this that says email released this afternoon

Taylor codes- Are you ready for it?
thebellagio · 05/07/2023 13:22

There's a helpful article on the bbc

This part in particular:

How many tickets can I buy?
Customers are limited to four tickets each.
If you have access codes for more than one city, you will need to go through the process for each separate date.

So each access code is only for one specific location which is what I thought. So if you were preferring Edinburgh, but you were allocated London, you can only go to London.

It's interesting that it's 4 tickets each - I wonder if that's for each date - because if she's playing 5 dates at Wembley, there's technically nothing stopping someone managing to secure 4 ticket for each date, so 20 tickets in total which would seem hugely unfair.
