Taylor codes- Are you ready for it?

Just starting a thread now in case codes start coming out at midnight or something crazy! I’m already nervous, can’t imagine what it’ll be like trying to get tickets!

When people start getting codes, update and let us know when they arrived and how you got them?

Ah that's useful! Thanks kitty. Again all nee to me!

Doorsonroblox · 10/07/2023 20:55

I managed to get 4 tickets today for Edinburgh. Was in such a panic about being timed out and didn’t really look at the seating plan properly - I don’t think my seats are good 😥 it looks like we’re right to the side of the stage and very far up! It was half 1 by the time I got through and there were no lower level seats left. Hope there’s good screens up.

tryingsomethingnew · 10/07/2023 20:56

Okay- another question....

You get in, get through, select the tickets you want and they offer you seats. If you don't want those- do you easily continue if you refresh or head back to the queue again? How many people did the refresh button for new seats work for?

Lamelie · 10/07/2023 20:59

So I have a very stressed dd next to me. I’ve got an email with a link that works (I’ve tried and it tells me I’ve 16 hours to wait) she’s convinced I won’t be able to buy tickets and then give them to her. If the email is sent to me and I buy them do I have to go?!

KittyMcKitty · 10/07/2023 21:02

Is it ticket master? If so then you absolutely can you just need to transfer them to her (she will need her own Ticketmaster app) but you don’t need to do this tomorrow (and won’t be able to do this till closer to the time) - I have done this for my dd on many occasions.

KingofCats · 10/07/2023 21:06

Guys I’ve just logged on again just now to ticketmaster to just practice for the ticket wars again tomorrow and managed to get £250 VIP Ready for It tickets for standing in Edinburgh. We live 45 mins from Wembley but couldn’t risk all the painful kerfuffle again tomorrow. DD and I very relieved. It does say not transferable but I think I can give her my ticketmaster log in

Mobile - kicked off computer at both 11 and 1 (as was someone else I know) when I got through to purchase - esp annoyed as for the 1pm I was less than 1900 in the queue. Tried Edinburgh on phone after kicked off the 1pm Wembley and got through no problem

I was kicked off three times on mobile at front of queue 😞

With or without a code?

The advice I have seen is to stick with the tickets you get allocated, as there is a chance you won't anything if you if you click the 'search again' option. Though if you get access into the sale very quick this is less likely. However, as they are allocating 'best available' the likelihood is even if you do get allocated more they will be worse - unless someone who got in earlier chooses to release their tickets or fails to check-out on time. That being said if you don't like the tickets then you have to choose which your preference is - having the not so good tickets but getting to go, or potentially getting nothing.

With a midnights code

sorry, to clarify, there is an option to search again - this lets you look at different ticket options - seated, standing, and packages... And you do not refresh, or get sent to the back of the queue for this.

Freshair1 · 10/07/2023 20:07

So if purchased 2 tickets for Edinburgh could you use the code again for Liverpool?

Yes - I purchased 3 tickets out of the 4 I could, when I went back in after (out of curiosity to see what was left) it said I had a limit of 1 ticket.

If you’re on AXS they have a ‘change’ button where you can try for new tickets. I got PL3 tickets, it offered me tickets in the upper bowl to begin with. I’m taking a small DD with me so didn’t want to be up high, risked it and changed and tried again and in the same price bracket got lower bowl!

However, in the 11am sale I did that and lost the ‘ok’ tickets I’d originally been offered and was repeatedly offered worse tickets before I got timed out, so it’s a bit of a game of chicken really!

Confuzzlediddled · 10/07/2023 21:50

We made 4000+ calls to the accessible line for wheelchair tickets (the 2 mobiles stopped counting number of calls at 2k) and got nowhere, just a constant "this line is busy please try later" message.

Fab. I got standing golden circle at Murray field, but none the wiser as to how good they'll be.

ContractQuestion · 10/07/2023 22:07

Confuddled it was just me here but I can see my phone made over 1400 dials to that number. 😔. Its not right.

No it's not right, accessible tickets should have moved on since the invention of the internet!

crastinatelikeapro · 10/07/2023 22:37

Hang on, so you don't actually get to choose where you want to be in the arena? Instead it just gives you a random ticket and you have to either take it or chance it giving you something worse?

Bluebells1970 · 10/07/2023 22:45

It just annoys me that this is done to stop ticket touts but it clearly hasn't given the prices of ones that are already being resold...

When we went to see Coldplay a few years ago at the royal albert hall, you had to have ID and the tickets had to be in your name. Only resale allowed was back to Ticketmaster. Why the hell this isn't standard practice is beyond me.

Hourbyehours · 10/07/2023 22:45

@crastinatelikeapro yes basically… I got to the front of the 9am sale and there was nothing left but VIP… got offered side view in the 1300 sale for £65 x4 plus fees. It won’t be a spectacular view but I think the atmosphere and the fact we can see the whole stadium will make up for that. I think the view will be restricted but really wanted to not pay much more per ticket and honestly felt it was that or nothing!

KingOfThieves · 10/07/2023 22:46

You can filter where you want to be ie west stand/south stand etc and filter by price so that does narrow it down. But at first entry to the sale you don’t get pick your seats from the map, no. They are randomly assigned and you can search for other tickets but don’t do it more than twice like me or you get kicked out 🙃 so basically if you get through, just buy the tickets they assign you as they are usually the “best” available and searching for others wastes opportunities and time

having said that there are hundreds of seats on the map left over for Edinburgh presale on the lower bowl for £661 each 🥲

Hourbyehours · 10/07/2023 22:50

I had about 19000 in front of me in the queue and got affordable tickets. I think availability with the midnights code will be better tomorrow and Weds… good luck fellow swifties… let the outfit planning commence!

shazshaz · 11/07/2023 01:17

I hope its genuine but I have just bought Wembley tickets for 15 August right now 1.14am on Tuesday.

Doidontimmm · 11/07/2023 06:47

I’m in Edinburgh but waiting on general release, for those travelling omg I’ve never seen the cost of hotels that high! Please book something asap. You may be best staying outside of Edinburgh.

Doorsonroblox · 11/07/2023 07:05

Yeah I’ve had to book half an hour outside of Edinburgh. Cannot justify those costs currently on booking.com on top of the ticket prices.
