Taylor codes- Are you ready for it?

Just starting a thread now in case codes start coming out at midnight or something crazy! I’m already nervous, can’t imagine what it’ll be like trying to get tickets!

When people start getting codes, update and let us know when they arrived and how you got them?

@PeachesOnTheBeaches that has always been my go to ticket buying theory. Just be glad to be in the room. I should have stuck to it.

Jigslaw · 10/07/2023 17:00

I don't like how you can't really choose, I was offered VIP tickets in the nosebleeds for £600 and I only knew the seats weren't great as I had a map open on my other screen. You'd assume all of the VIP ones were good! I got through straight away at 3pm but changed my mind, I'm going to try again for wembley tomorrow but hope for Cardiff.

SummaLuvin · 10/07/2023 17:10

If you scroll to below the ticket types, near where it says "find best available" there it something which bring up tick boxes for price bands and location which varies by location - Edinburgh was which stand, London was which level. Not much control, but lets you have a little say in what you want to to suggest as best for you.

SummaLuvin · 10/07/2023 17:11

sorry, realised that might be useless if you are AXS, I'm on Ticketmaster.

GellerYeller · 10/07/2023 17:13

It’s similar on AXS. Just noticed the ‘It’s Been a Long Time Coming’ package is actually £662 per ticket so will be nearly £700 with fees maybe?! 😱

fancreek · 10/07/2023 17:50

Woooo we got ours! £150 each for front standing + £30 in 'fees' 🤔

I’m sorry - 4 hours of redialling is shit! I do think that this whole thing has been made into the moat complicated thing ever - and this is only the presale. Gosh know how the general
sale (but only if you pre registered and are lucky enough to be selected to have a go) is going to be like!

tryingsomethingnew · 10/07/2023 18:32

Did anyone go for the package tickets? In the description it says an Excellent seat, an unforgettable seat, a great seat....does it actually tell you where once you click?

I was scoping out today ahead of seriously trying tomorrow and when you selected the packages it still gives you information on section/block, row, and seat - same as standard tickets, so you can compare to the map and know exactly where you will be buying. You get 2 minutes to commit to these and proceed to checkout (where I think you get 10 minutes to complete) or to say you want to leave these tickets and search again.

At least that's how it was on Ticketmaster.

PeachesOnTheBeaches · 10/07/2023 18:40

Do we think it’s better to try on mobile or computer?

KittyMcKitty · 10/07/2023 18:43

Mobile - kicked off computer at both 11 and 1 (as was someone else I know) when I got through to purchase - esp annoyed as for the 1pm I was less than 1900 in the queue. Tried Edinburgh on phone after kicked off the 1pm Wembley and got through no problem

Once you add to basket it tells you where, I tried a few and for the price none of them were good seats!

I had a look at them after purchasing our tickets just out of curiosity. We got block 115 for £150 a ticket, one of the packages (can’t remember which, it was in the £600 region) came up in block 110 when I clicked it. Absolutely wasn’t worth an additional £450+ for a similar seat and some merch!

Freshair1 · 10/07/2023 20:07

So if purchased 2 tickets for Edinburgh could you use the code again for Liverpool?

crastinatelikeapro · 10/07/2023 20:09

I thought I read it would mess things up if you refreshed the page or tried to log in on more than one device with the same account. Is it worth using both my computer and phone or just sticking to one device?

Assuming I even get a code for general sale of course!!

ContractQuestion · 10/07/2023 20:13

If someone did book one because they could. Then booked a date that suited them better.

Cna they resell the tickets? My daughter thought the person who paid the bill/credit card had to be there?!

tryingsomethingnew · 10/07/2023 20:30

Snailandwhale- that's interesting. A very good point. I wonder if anyone else noted this?

Ticketmaster has an official resell feature for people who no longer want their tickets, and I'm assuming other big vendors do too. Once you've paid, you go into your account and a "sell this ticket" button appears beside it. It's not like a scalping site as the person pays face value and the ticket is legitimately transferred to them.

However, when I bought my accessible ticket I had to agree to it being completely non-refundable, non-sellable, non-transferrable, etc.

ContractQuestion · 10/07/2023 20:37

Oh I don't want to do it. I'd hang onto any we got like gold dust- well done for getting through amused. We're you on hold long?

I'm more wondering if there will be legitimate resale or if they'd charge tons like in America. I'm fairly new to these type of tickets.

It didn’t say anywhere that the buyer had to attend as far as I saw (and I was buying for a friend stuck in the queue after another friend got ours so I did pay attention).

I did it via the AXS website (there were two buttons, one for the general queue and one for the accessible queue) and I couldn't believe how quickly I got in. I've just checked my confirmation email and I received it at 11:10! I must have been in the first batch of people to get through from the waiting room.

It offered me an "okay" seat at first but I braced myself and hit refresh. The same seat again. Refreshed and it said there were no seats available - cue feeling sick to my stomach. Refresh... refresh... and it offered me a better seat than the first one. I didn't chance my luck again 😅

ContractQuestion · 10/07/2023 20:48

Ah that's interesting. Our group had all assumed we couldn't buy for each other/share codes as we thought you had to have the credit card owner there (reducing ticket touting/ticketmaster thing) I'm now wondering where we got this idea from!

KittyMcKitty · 10/07/2023 20:49

Ticketmaster let’s you transfer tickets to other people - so they become the ticket owner - I’ve done this with Reading Festival and Harry Stykes tix for my children
