Taylor codes- Are you ready for it?

1000 replies

TaylorTickets · 04/07/2023 19:05

Just starting a thread now in case codes start coming out at midnight or something crazy! I’m already nervous, can’t imagine what it’ll be like trying to get tickets!

When people start getting codes, update and let us know when they arrived and how you got them?

CuriousGeorge80 · 05/07/2023 19:18

Wembley tickets seated in middle tier are £170.

Callyem · 05/07/2023 19:21

I received the email announcing the new dates but nothing since to say it I have been selected for presale or wait listed. Has anyone else? Should I deduce that it will be the wait list and they just haven't sent those yet? Selected London shows.

SummaLuvin · 05/07/2023 19:26

Does anyone know if the Midnights pre-sale code can be used on multiple occasions for multiple attempts? Or if you type it in to access the sale and if you are unsuccessful then you missed your chance? Or is it somewhere in between where the code will work for only one day?

For example - if I try and fail to get tickets for 13th June Anfield, can I then try for 14th June Anfield, then 15th June Anfield? (all of these are on pre-sale 11th July at various times). Then if I fail on all those occasions could I try for Wembley and/or Cardiff the following day?

Sorry if this is already clarified somewhere, I couldn't find the answer in the email or FAQ.

hettiethehare · 05/07/2023 19:26

Does anyone know the maximum number of tickets you can buy? London if that makes a difference.

SummaLuvin · 05/07/2023 19:28

@hettiethehare as far as I know, for all shows it is 4.

CoffeeMama1 · 05/07/2023 19:28

4 per account I believe

Caroparo52 · 05/07/2023 19:29

Seriously ?

Petal7 · 05/07/2023 19:29

@JustLurkingAway - was that info in a Midnights pre sale email? I bought the album within the time frame, but no email here yet and getting stressed! Thanks!

Quartz2208 · 05/07/2023 19:30

GellerYeller · 05/07/2023 18:19

We’ll this is stressful already. Firstly Paramore!! That adds a whole level of extra pressure to succeed round here.
I have an email saying to look out for general sale codes up to 14th. Or waitlist? And one from the Midnights presale saying you qualified, codes for AXS due by 10am Fri 7th July.
And the dates fall in GCSE exam time for year 11s in June, or do they? Anyone here with expertise on that? Please!! None of the venues are local to us. Sob!

Most end by Friday 14th (though that looks to have physics at the moment) with design and tech and food tech and home languages 17th-19th.

I wouldn’t travel on Friday 14th but that weekend onwards will be fine. London dates are definitely clear

SummaLuvin · 05/07/2023 19:35

@Petal7 I participated in the Midnights pre-order and got an email on 20/06/23 confirming this and setting out some expected next steps and info for the pre-sale. Then I got another today updating information. Did you receive one a couple of weeks ago, if so I wouldn't be worried. If not, I would want to chase that up ASAP.

tryingsomethingnew · 05/07/2023 19:37

I received the same email as some others that say you will be contacted by Ticketmaster or Axs. My email didn't say which one yet. Only that we will hear something by the 14th.

Is that right? I haven't been assigned to one yet?

JustLurkingAway · 05/07/2023 19:37

@Petal7 agree with the above! The first email I had was 20th June, then a second one today updating the info given before

It was in FAQ! I will post here in case relevant for others with same question.

Will my pre-sale access code be valid for all on-sale dates?

Your pre-sale code will grant you access to the pre-sale for all on-sale dates and locations for the U.K. and Ireland. Your code will not be valid on dates outside the U.K. and Ireland or for any other dates that may be announced (if applicable).
Codes are redeemable across all dates and times of the pre-sale until a successful purchase of tickets has been made for a maximum of 4 tickets. Attempts to use the code after the maximum purchase limit has been made will be unsuccessful.
Pre-sale access codes will only be redeemable via the ticket provider you have been assigned. For further information on Dublin dates when using an AXS code, please see the relevant FAQ below:

@SummaLuvin and @JustLurkingAway - thanks- no nothing i've seen! Were the emails from the Taylor Swift store?

Thanks!

thebellagio · 05/07/2023 19:42

They do seem to have made this ridiculously complex.

so if we registered for the Ticketmaster sale, we’ll find out no later than the 14 July if we are yes/waitlisted.

where I get confused is this part here.

  • Access to sales will be limited to the specific shows on specific days. If you are selected please read your email carefully to see which days on sales you have access to

so I’ve registered for London. There are 5 London dates overall. Does this mean, they’ve allocated you a specific London date - you have no say. So you might want an august date (which I would prefer as it’s the school holidays) but they could give you a Sunday in June and you have no choice,

Chocolateship · 05/07/2023 19:45

SnailAndAWhale · 05/07/2023 18:37

Given the demand they are going to be able to get away with charging pretty much whatever they want aren’t they.

The issue is usually that they don't charge as much as people are willing to pay, therefore it's more appealing to ticket touts as they get more profit- ie buy a reasonably priced ticket and sell super high; reasonable pricing actually makes this worse. They won't be peanuts by any means and prime seats will be a bit eye watering I expect, but if the pricing is similar converted to pounds it shouldn't be toooo bad.

This is the one I got. There's an email address on there for if you don't receive a code from them between tomorrow & Friday, you could try emailing that? It's [email protected] , hopefully they can help!

I think you if you registered for London for example, you get access to any London sale, so they'll list all the times for those sales on your email

Petal7 · 05/07/2023 19:49

@SummaLuvin and @JustLurkingAway - weirdly the email has literally just come!!! Thank you! I've got Ticketmaster!

This is true - I saw the resell tickets in America were absolutely insane. People were buying tickets midway through the show for literally thousands of dollars. I do like that in making it harder to get tickets in the first place it’s hopefully making it harder for reselling but I’m also thrown by this whole process too haha!

Also feel like I’m stressing out over the dates and pre sale situation - I feel like do I need to just get whatever tickets I can for the first London date as I don’t want to end up with no tickets, but then be annoyed if there was a possibility I could’ve got better tickets for a more suitable date. Does that make sense? I’ve confused myself with it enough 😂

ContractQuestion · 05/07/2023 19:53

Im confused too.

we want an august date but do we need to accept bidding for june?

also may be eligible for access presale and cant ged my head around when that is!

Maybe their plan is to weed out demand by making a batch of people say “sod this!”

The access code is for a venue and day of sale. The London dates are split across 3 days of sale, each of those has 1 June date and 1 August date - I think to allow buyers to choose between June and August if they have a preference, but if you are especially after 1 specific date, you may not get an access code for that one.

(i may be wrong)
