…ok, but what’s in your Meal Deal though?

All this talk of meal deals is making me hungry. Bloody love a meal deal. What’s your combo?

Mine is:

• cheese and onion sandwich
• small tub of Pringles
• innocent berry smoothie or Diet Coke or coconut water

Sandwich can be substituted for a tuna and sweetcorn one, but I’m in a real cheese and onion phase at the moment. Crisps can be sea salt and balsamic vinegar kettle chips or Squares depending on mood, but Pringles are speaking to me the most currently.

What’s in yours?

Chocolate of some sort
Lipton iced tea

Cheese and onion, or ham and mustard
Salt and vinegar crisps or some kind
Sugar free red bull

I'd have one every day if money was no object!

Today - chicken Caesar wrap, pot of mango, Cherry Coke Zero. I may also have bought a pack of chocolate coated peanuts.

They're always disappointing so I rarely get them but when I do it's egg mayo, the plainest crisps on offer and water or diet coke. I'm extremely boring.

Wotsits or Pickled Onion Monster Munch
Ready to drink iced coffee or Coke.

Strawberry and Banana Innocent Smoothie

BLT, two hard boiled eggs and a lipton iced tea. Lovely.

Cheese and onion, sweet chilli sensations, Copenhagen apple juice

Prawn mayo sandwich

(give the smoothie to my daughter, if I want Diet Pepsi I get a separate can and if I want crisps I also buy a multipack of crisps separately)
I don’t eat the whole multipack I use it for packed lunches,

I've never had a meal deal but DS has them a lot as they are very good value when he's working on low pay. He loves healthy food and usually gets a chicken wrap, a smoothie and carrot sticks with humous as the snack. All for about £3.50 from Tesco.

Pesto pasta, kit kat and cherry Pepsi max or a mean green smoothie machine 😋

Asda egg and tomato with salad cream sandwich, beef hula hoops and Dr Pepper.

Partial to a tuna baguette too. Can swap the hula hoops for the king prawn mccoys. I'm a fan of the stinkier food 😬

i never want the drink so get the most expensive smoothie/coconut water cause it’s the best value and normally forget about it in the fridge.

I also like the chicken and bacon sandwich/wrap and the duck hoisin (or vegan fake duck) wraps. And the mozzarella pesto wrap. And mini cheddars.

They are too small. I get a baguette, pot of houmous, 150 g bag of crisps and 6 tomatoes. Then a cup of tea at work.

Nice salad - wholefood / grain / pasta - whatever. Best choice something I would be unlikely to make myself.
Iced coffee / milkshake .
Tub of fruit or a flapjack / cereal bar type thing.
I am a grazer so a meal deal would get me through a whole longish shift - salad, then drink, then snack with a tea all at staggered times.

Southern fried chicken wrap, salt and vinegar McCoys crinkle crisps and a Pepsi max.
if Tesco have the fajita wrap on then I would pick that, or a chicken salad sandwich. I’m also partial to a packet of salt and vinegar squares, and I’ve been known to enjoy a bottle of oasis summer fruits or Coke Zero.

Sainsbos meal deal:
Bacon, brie and chill chutney sandwich
Chocolate twist from bakery ( for breakie)
Iced coffee/purdeys/smoothie

I tend to get whatever version of a mediterranean veg wrap the supermarket does (Tesco seem to have stopped doing theirs which is annoying) Pepsi Max and Walkers Cheese and Onion crisps.
Sometimes I get a pasta but I take those home to heat up in the microwave because I don’t like cold pasta.

All day vegan breakfast sandwich, vegan rocky road or ready salted hula hoops, some kind of red or blue coloured smoothie.

Mexican bean/cheese wrap
Cheesey Doritos or Thai Sweet Chilli walkers
Pink smoothie

Unless I'm in Boots, where I'll get their Shapers cloudy lemonade, but I don't think they do it anymore.
