thread]] it’s been a while, but I thought I should update! The original thread is in Classics and ran to three with a happy ending.

I just wanted to tell you that the fields are now part of a conservation project to reintroduce Lapwing, and they are bloody marvellous! They were also our haven in 2020 when we could just hide away from the world - there are advantages to living in the middle of nowhere.

MN had probably changed so much that posting that it worked out buying a near- derelict house in the middle of nowhere is an act of privilege, and I’m now in agreement. I am so fucking privileged to be where I am with the family I have, and the world I have created, and there was luck and awfulness along the way.

Probably not relevant to most people, but I think we’re coming up to the 10 year anniversary if we haven’t passed it, and I am so grateful to all of you vipers for being who you were back then.

It feels like a funny old time in my life. But a time when MN was a solid prop for holding fast to what is right for you. I was vulnerable back then, now my job is supporting those without a voice. It’s funny how you learn to pay it back

Stacking goats! Yes! It seems both a lifetime ago, and really recent!

They're 20 and 22. And I have a middle one as well now, ended up in an impromptu fostering situation. He's 21. I still shoot arrows, the rest don't. Oldest is a graduate, youngest just finished year 2 marine bio. And I think I will be single for the rest of my life and I'm fine with that. Life's good.

The horse eviction coinciding with penguin bollard showdown was one of the most satisfying weekends of my life.

funnly enother I did think of you during lock down, and how much you'd be appreciating your field.
