Woman driving past house waving

This morning, pretty early-9ish, I was getting DD’s breakfast ready and the dog was going nuts, barking like crazy. I went to see and there was a car slowly driving past, almost stopping outside, with a woman looking into the house. She kept staring in and driving past, each time she could see me come to stand at the window , she’d slow right down and start waving madly at me 😬I was a bit like 🤷🏻‍♀️and moved my dog away to stop her barking, she then drove off.
Any idea what that kind of situation can be about 🙈

She probably has some form of mental illness.

So I hate to be this person but are you married/in a relationship? Could it be a scorned OW scoping you/the house out?

How long have you lived there? Could she have known the people before and thought you were them?

Mistaken identity? I waved at ds's mate's dps as I drove past. Walking their little ddog. Then I remembered they didn't have a little ddog as the dm was scared of them.
They had waved back though. Most enthusiastically!!
Unless she was waving a gun op just forget about it!

I definitely don’t know her, she drove past several times, each time I came to the window, she slowed down and was looking in more and waving to me…in a friendly way 😬

So a car drives past. Dog barks. So you go and look out of the window. Woman driving past sees you looking out and waves. Rinse and repeat.
She was probably driving past minding her own then saw you poking out from behind the nets and decided to wind you up.
