After the whole queue gate thing when they were trying to make it look like they were there in a work capacity they sent Alison down to look at flowers at the gates as if different presenters had been sent to different places 🤦🏼‍♀️ It was so obvious that days later they’d just quickly told her to go down there though and thrown it all in together

I think Rylan left quite quickly after the Runnergate scandal saying something about how some people aren’t as nice as they appear on TV and is very supportive of Eamonn and Ruth. Remember when Philip cut Ruth off abruptly when she was doing a link for Loose Women? He couldn’t hide his dislike for her.

The whole show is a cess pit. I really like Vanessa, but she’s been on that show for years and she must have seen that whole Runnergate thing unfold, as did Alison, Gino and all the other hangers on.

I don’t understand why other people like Andy Gray, Richard Keys, Piers Morgan, Aled Jones all get cancelled and banished from a prime time TV (not defending any of these sexist old dinosaurs just making a point) but Smug Phil gets to keep his Daytime TV throne.

Does anyone actually like him? I mean, who says “I love that Philip Schofield, he’s a brilliant presenter and such a great guy.” No one!

My best guess is that Philip has some unpleasant intel on people in high places. He doesn’t seem to be popular as well as the fact that he’s morally reprehensible. What else can it be?

@dayswithaY you just wonder how this is going to unfold this time. Surely this is now much worse than anything else that has come out and it’s just brought everything else back to the surface that had been brushed under the carpet last time! He surely can’t just come back on like nothing’s happened?!

Ruth came back and did a show or two with Rylan and he said on it that she’d phoned him and said she was only going back on if he’d come with her. Just last week I watched one of the loose women hand overs and it’s sooo frosty when it’s Ruth and Phillip. She said ‘sorry Phillip, don’t have long’ then very quickly ran through what was on the show as if she wouldn’t be having any chat with him. I think it was implying he’d ran over and left her no time too. She doesn’t seem to care about hiding it 😂 She’s probably secretly delighted that everyone can now see what’s been going on.

@Picoloangel its got to be something like that or just the way he’s previously reacted in response to some of these people he’s fell out with and the possible injunction etc he’s had put in place so people are maybe scared to cross him

Back in the day I had a close friend who was a showbiz journo. She always used to say that if celebs ended up in the tabloids it was because they’d pissed someone off and weren’t playing the game. She’d always say there were certain celebs that everyone knew were gay/being unfaithful or whatever it was they were trying to hide but that as long as they toed the line it would never come out.

Just looked this up. So they flew in on Gordon’s private jet but sniffer dogs were circling Gino and they found cannabis in his luggage. A few weeks later he left the show. He just got a fine for it though. Is that what a ‘normal’ person would get if it was found in their luggage? Just curious but a fine doesn’t sound much really

There was also stories about how he Gino was inappropriate around female production staff. It was minimised by his people saying he was just very Italian and tactile and they were Millennial snowflakes (paraphrasing obvs).

I don't think that possessing a small amount of cannabis for personal use is seen as the crime of the century.

I'm not defending him! Can't stand him! But the PO asked if a "normal" person would only get a fine for possessing cannabis. I think yes they would. It's not the type of offence that results in a prison sentence.

I think it's a big crime under the circumstances @SallyWD , it not only shows he thinks the law doesn't apply to him but its very disrespectful to his host that he would risk it
He thought he could travel across borders with it because he was on a private plane. Utter wanker
