Does this travel cup exist?

I need a travel cup that keeps everything really hot- but crucially, completely seals so I can carry it in my backpack
Currently I am using my chillys bottle as a flask as it totally seals and doesn't spill but its too hard to drink a hot drink out of a bottle.
I have googled previously and bought a few different ones but they have all leaked

Is there such a travel cup that totally seals and can be in a backpack for a commute- and still hot when I get to my desk at work?

All help gratefully received!

Watching with interest as I'm after the exact same thing!

Contigo

DashboardConfessional · 07/02/2023 12:17

I've got a Contigo and no leaks so far, since Christmas.

Contigo Byron

warnc007 · 07/02/2023 12:18

Contigo West loop is what you need

Anoisagusaris · 07/02/2023 12:20

Definitely a Contigo.

Jubaju · 07/02/2023 12:21

starbucks Travel mugs don’t leak- I shove mine in my bag for commuting and it’s fine

Clymene · 07/02/2023 12:21

Contigo. No leaks, not ever. And it keeps your coffee lip burningly hot.

FerreroRocherAreAmazing · 07/02/2023 12:21

Contigo is amazing. I second everyone's.

gogohmm · 07/02/2023 12:22

I have one from John Lewis, 5 years old still no leaks. At work will check brand when I get home

Porridgeislife · 07/02/2023 12:23

Contigo here as well.

Switchwitch · 07/02/2023 12:23

Contigo but find there's a bit on the lid that snaps after about a year

Sucessinthenewyear · 07/02/2023 12:24

Contigo

SaffyWall · 07/02/2023 12:24

Another vote for a Contigo Byron. I think I got mine from Asda and have had it for a couple of years now - it's never leaked and my tea is always too hot to drink!

Sunnyday777 · 07/02/2023 12:24

I have a smash soft touch, it was from Sainsbury’s. It gets chucked in the boot for football with coats etc and never leaks, and it’s well over a year old now.

I have a Circular Cup (formerly rCup), bought on Amazon. It's properly leakproof, and made of recycled materials, but doesn't keep drinks hot for more than about an hour in my experience.

cmt1375 · 07/02/2023 12:26

Lifeventure thermal mug, sold in outdoor shops mine has lasted for years and it has never leaked

dumpling123 · 07/02/2023 12:30

Do the people with contigo cups find it easy to clean them with the snap seal?

wimbler · 07/02/2023 12:33

frank green coffee cups are excellent. Keeps my coffee hot for hours and has a good push button top to drink out of

redspottedmug · 07/02/2023 12:34

Contigo BUT the rubber seal can degrade over time.

Bluegingerbread · 07/02/2023 12:37

Contigo but eventually the rubber seal stretches/degrades and I had to buy a new flask as they don't seem to sell spare seals or lids. Kind of annoying as rest of flask is fine.

SeaToSki · 07/02/2023 12:42

Yeti and Hydroflask (from the US but they will ship to the UK). Both also keep the contents screaming hot for hours. My DD has the Hydroflask with a loop handle and clips it to the outside of her school bag. When she drinks it at lunch its still really hot (hot choc not coffee!) and it is banging around the bus and school all morning. Its 3 yrs old and still fine

Am I being silly thinking these will never leak- even if it went upside down in my bag would it be OK?
