Beauty students asked to strip in front of trans rapist at college AFTER sex attacks

My AIBU title taken from this news article:

www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/beauty-students-asked-strip-front-29063499

This whole 'Isla Bryson' cluster-fuck has me angrier than I can describe.

These girls had to accept and trust this vile individual in their beauty course on the basis of Isla's claim to be a woman, nothing more. They even tolerated abuse from Isla.

They were not told this individual was facing charges of rape. The college claim they didn't know either. Because 'Isla' said he was a women, these young women felt they had no choice but to strip to virtually naked in front of him. Failing to do so would be 'bigoted'.

But he also happens to be a serial rapist. Young women, some possibly aged 16 or so, stripping to virtually naked while a serial rapist watches. If this was my daughter I would be going mad.

Where is the safeguarding?

AIBU to feel viscerally angry with all our politicians about this?

In the teaching resources from No Outsiders, a question to children is;

"What does British law say about gender identity?”

They are then referred to the No Outsiders posters ,which shows that gender is a protected characteristic.

Gender identity has no definition in British law.

This is what we are up against.

This is the link, to the investigation on No Outsiders, if any one is interested.

This is only one such provider.

I teach secondary science. I have year 7 students coming up from primary school completely convinced that humans can change sex, that men can have babies, a transwoman grows a vagina and uterus, and has periods, and that sex and gender are the same thing.

I'm currently working on my complaint to my DD's school.

Sorry to detail, but

JoodyBlue · 28/01/2023 17:40

Yes it is terrible. Children who need clarity will find this frustrating and nonsensical. Indeed as an adult it is so. But presenting this mess to children is abusive. I'm glad you are taking the school to task @Vebrithien As for queering anything in primary school, or even secondary school, again it is abusive, sexualised exploitation of kids.

Vebrithien · 28/01/2023 17:41

Sorry for the detail, and all the details.

I am terrified for my DD. She's in infants.

The whole gender concept is made up as well. It was invented by John Money in the 60s
In reality you have two sexes and within that you can have women who maybe like things like are traditionally masculine. Or men who like things that were seen as feminine, and so what; it doesn't mean they're actually a different sex.
None of makes sense at a basic level once you analyse it. Aaargh.

Emotionalsupportviper · 28/01/2023 17:49

Thank you @Vebrithien .

I think the technical term for that message is "bollox". An interesting read - and the deliberate obfuscation of I am clear that the poster is not an Equality Act poster and it doesn’t mention the equality act on there. When every other characteristic the poster mentions is a protected one, yet it omits the VITAL protected characteristic of "sex" - worse, REPLACES it with "gender" this implies that it is "gender" which is the protected characteristic.

It's blurring the boundaries. I'm very glad that you are fighting it. Please let us know how you get on. This is the thin edge of a very big wedge.

JFC.

How many violent men have to identify as women to make Sturgeon see sense?

They MUST have known about these men when they said there was no evidence.

Fucking liars.

Jesus. I have just read about this mans imprisonment and some of the things he has done. He is crying out for help. He sounds like a wounded terrified animal, extremely mentally disturbed. No sane person bites their own veins, covers themselves and their ‘home’ with shit and tries to commit suicide. I can’t help but wondering what led him to that point. All that aside, he needs to be in a mens prison or mental health hospital kept away from women. He does not belong in a Womens prison. NS over to you hen.

Rainbowshit · 28/01/2023 17:54

In an very sceptical that males would be in courses to learn how to do bikini waxing and spray tans. Their client base would be so limited it wouldn't be worth it.

I'd be prepared to accept a male carrying out intimate procedures in a medical environment whereas many females wouldn't. For something frivolous like a bikini wax or a spray tan not a chance would I choose a male to do it.

IcakethereforeIam · 28/01/2023 17:56

@Vebrithien I can't help but read that reply from No Outsiders, particularly the last sentence, as a long form 'fuck you'.

The problem is that any safeguarding/respect is blown away by the acceptance that a transwoman is a woman. I know a man who is a doctor and now says he's a woman. He is 'officially' a woman, on his professional page etc. So what happens if a woman patient says she wants a female doctor and he turns up?
He's a father of several kids as well. Selfish.

You are right, of course - I was so busy concentrating on the thought of this bloke as a beauty therapist giving massages etc to women, I totally forgot that a female therapist could end up with a Jessica Yaniv.

And the answer in both cases is the same. Same sex provision.

Vebrithien · 28/01/2023 18:03

Thanks @Emotionalsupportviper

I'm so scared. My DH doesn't want to talk about anything to do with gender, trans or women's rights.

I am scared this will make my DD's time at school difficult. That I will be labelled a troublemaker and banned from the school site. There is a trans/non-binary member of staff, it is suggested that I am doing this against them, I could lose my job.

But I know what is right. Children deserve and are entitled to be given the correct language to describe themselves and the world around them. Confusing language, such as conflating sex and gender, is a safeguarding nightmare. It excludes the vulnerable SEN students, those from different cultures, those with English as an Additional Language. It means that those children who are at risk of discrimination due to their sexuality, can't describe their sexuality with reference to sex!

There is a time that will come, when we have to chose between with is right and what is easy.

Sorry I posted that quote too soon. What I was going to say is that little boys often prefer toys and products marketed at girls when they are younger. The spend more time often around the home or a home where concerns are domestic and toys marketed at girls are often colourful and interesting to young kids. It means nothing about their gender. Absolute zilch. Our toybox was always full of dolls and ovens and toy fruit. My DS had long blond hair and loved to dress up, in anything when he was young. He managed to avoid all this claptrap and is now very much a male teen. But if this was going on when he was in primary I would have been furious and would have been making my views on the rubbish they are teaching very very clear.

TangledWebOfDeception · 28/01/2023 18:03

This.

JoodyBlue · 28/01/2023 18:05

@Vebrithien it excludes everybody who does not want to lie!

ILikeDungs · 28/01/2023 18:08

The Challenors were instrumental in guiding the Green Party on prison reforms which would put the rights of trans inmates first
This was roughly the time that it was clear that the pedophile Challenor Senior was going to spend some time inside for sex crimes against children.
www.greenparty.org.uk/news/2015/12/07/green-party-backs-prisontransform-campaign/
Note the letter is signed by Challenors son (now known as Aimee Challenor).

Sorry have not RTFT but got to page 6 and saw this. Have to add Aimee Challenor also wrote the trans guidance for Girl Guides, ffs.

Aimee is a man who identifies as trans, a furry, a nappy fetishist, and married to an admitted (male) paedophile (or two). Son of a convicted child torturer. Lived in house at the time that the torture of a 10 year old girl was taking place.

Was an officer of Greens and Lib Dems, I believe. A Reddit mod. Developed terf-blocker for Twitter. THAT is how corrupt and mangled all this is.

And how long do parents spend having to drum into their kids before they start school that you shouldn't lie. It's wrong to lie. You should sideways tell the truth.

Then school turns you and your child against each other from the start of PRIMARY!

Empowermenomore · 28/01/2023 18:10

What really angers me is that some transgender activists act all offended if you use the wrong pronouns and never stop to think how offensive it is to a woman, many women I know, to be told a man is now a woman because he says so and uses pink or whatever stupid stereotype they think makes a woman.

we are born women, no choice, it’s life’s lottery. A bad ticket in a world made to fit men. And now even the few things that have taken centuries for women to carve out of that men’s world are for the taking!

im so angry at this shit!

I was an 80s kid. Always in dungarees. Played with lego which is now seen as a boys thing. That was pretty normal. I definitely wasn't considered a 'tomboy' even.
Honestly I can barely cope with the head fuck of all this. How kids are meant to manage, I have no idea.

JoodyBlue · 28/01/2023 18:11

I think parents need to go on strike. They can't fine a whole year group keeping their kids off school. Well they could, then we'd crowd fund. They don't learn much in year one anyway. Sorry, am feeling particularly militant around this today. I am so so over all this rubbish.

It is super offensive to adult human females. But I can stand up for myself. It is the kids I'm really worried about right now.

I'd probably lose my job if I told them what I think. I am in Scotland, so even worse.

TangledWebOfDeception · 28/01/2023 18:15

There is a whole generation of children/young people that have already been totally fucked over with this shit.

It is serious, and extremely damaging.

Again, we’ve been talking about this here for YEARS. Women have been banned for addressing this.

JoodyBlue · 28/01/2023 18:15

@TimandGinger Yes and I'm so sorry. Totalitarianism is a reality in Scotland today.
