Today I was working 1-2-1 with a yr 3 child, and we were using Matilda as a base for our session. The pupil then said I looked a bit like Miss Trunchbull from the film Shock !

Has anyone else been compared to people they would rather not be?

Michelle is that you? It has to be. There can’t be two women who look like Carlos. TBH I wouldn’t have a clue who he is… but my friend looks identical 😳 (without make up of course)

No I'm not Michelle. But please pass my regards to Michelle, I feel her pain. Puyolhead is a terrible condition

My nephew used to call me Noel Fielding 🙄😂

When my hair was dark, someone said I looked like Rose West

When I was 16, I got a spiral perm, walked out of the salon only to be told I looked like Peggy from Hi de Hi. I was aiming more for the pre Raphaelite look. Also got told I looked like Carrie from SITC, which was a bit better, although I would have preferred Samantha 😂

@NannyOggsWhiskyStash when I was about 14 my friend got a perm that went wrong. She looked like a poodle.
I don't think I actually said that to her face but if I did - Alison I'm sorry. Really really sorry 🙂

Someone at an old job used to constantly say I looked like Linda La Hughes. She'd announce to everyone, "doesn't she look like her out of Gimme Gimme Gimme?". I was in my early 20s and had glasses and dyed red hair.

She had a cheek commenting on anyone's appearance, she actually resembled a shar-pei dog. I was much too polite to point it out though.

A young lad said loudly to his sniggering mates "It's Lady Penelope!"

Best way to deal with this is to say "indeed it is" and smile at them 🤓
