Where is Nicholas Witchell?

I can’t be the only one wondering where the BBC’s royal correspondent has got to these days. He’s not been heard from since the day they announced the queens death. Not that I miss the man, but surely he has the easiest job at the beeb.

I do not think the rumours about Harry's parentage are true. His parents are Diana and Charles. But he does not look like Charles. He looks more like Diana's brother.

I find some of these responses to this very odd. If a political correspondent was disliked by the pm would you expect them to resign? There's no difference to the job. People either seem to think he should be more obsequious or that he's too obsequious. Just because he's royal correspondent doesn't mean he should just report all the lovely bits. Or vice versa.

Also I would say that, while he's not on a par with a correspondent on the front line of a war, it's an extremely difficult job. Especially at the moment as there's a lot to fill.

Personally I'm not bothered by him.

Do people hate him because he's ginger?

I don't like him because he's pompous and sycophantic. I don't give a toss about his hair colour.

I think he might retire now, unless he's desperate to add the coronation to his CV. And he's been in the job for what seems like an eternity.

None of the journalist covering this sad event can compare at all with quality of narrator Richard Dimbleby (who covered Queen's coronation) or even for that matter with his son - David Dimbleby.

I don't like him much but I dislike Charles more. The way he spoke about him, not nice at all. Probably speaks about loads of others the same.

Saw him last week on TV outside Balmoral. It was absolutely bucketing down, real Scots weather, he looked most unhappy. Maybe he caught a chill😀

I think Harry looks like his grandfather, Prince Phillip, look at the eyes on both of them, very close together, same with Charles. I can't attach pics but take a look.
