To wash my hair in the morning?

Quick one for you all- some perspective needed here please!

DP says all women he's ever known have washed their hair at night, before bed.

I say no, done in the morning shower as always. In the evening would also mean an extra shower.

For context on my hair wash days it only adds 5 minutes onto my routine. He takes twice as long in the shower every day.

What do you all do? What's the most common thing?

I do mine every second night in the bath. No time in the morning as we don’t have a shower or decent shower attachment thingy. It takes ages to fish hair out the bath each time before washing the rest of me and if I don’t the soap and everything else gets covered in hair.

I work 12hr shifts that start at 6:30am, so if I am working the next day I wash my hair the night before- means I dont have to wake up even earlier. If I am not working I wash it in the morning so I can style it properly and it looks neater.

I wash my hair every morning- and always have done. That way it's nice for the day. My hair is fine and has a tendency to be greasy and only looks nice for a short time.

Ok so because he says so it's cause for you to question yourself? Bizarre 🤔 Do what you want, why do you care what he thinks?

Evening here so I don’t have to faff with it in the morning before I go to work on top of the usual faff. Or if I’m working from home not blocking the bathroom

I am really used to evening shower, but nothing unreasonable about morning if it works for you.

It isn't about statistics anyway, he sounds sour about your morning routine. Are there any issues with coordination/could you two check together how to make mornings smoother? If his shower takes longer, he doesn't have much of a leg, so let him realize it :)

I do mine in the evening.

I very rarely do it in the morning just because of time.
I have very long hair that takes ages to towel dry and I don’t like to blow dry, so I wouldn’t be able to style it properly in the mornings.

Morning. If i do mornings i can get a couple of days out of it and it has more volume. If i do evenings it doesnt stay as fresh for long and seems a bit flat

Morning usually. Unless I’m working an early shift then I’ll do it the night before.

I would never have time to wash and style my hair in the morning before work/ nursery run.

YANBU. If I wash and blowdry my hair night, it’s invariably disheveled in the morning.

I wash mine in morning shower unless I have a really early shift and then I'll do it at night. When it's been hot I have an evening shower.

Morning in the shower, though most days I shower before bed too. Years ago I went to bed with wet hair, then styled it in the morning, but then decided it wasn't good for the pillow.

Every day in the morning. Mine's curly and I can't get a comb through it unless it's with conditioner on.

i have short hair and for most of my adult life washed it every day because it got flat. But recently stopped and now wash it every 5 or 6 days and it's fine. But always in the morning, especially in summer, because otherwise it gets sweaty and what's the point of freshly washed hair otherwise=

But i do know plenty of people who wash at night.

Wash mine every morning. I have very curly hair and could not possibly go out in public looking like I do when I get up.

I don't think my husband would notice or have any opinions about when I washed my hair
