Lighthearted!

My sin: I went to a Wetherspoons whilst on holiday in England. Not once, but twice The food was great and I have 3 children with very restricted tastes in food. I'm the same so the menu suited us all. I feel bad about going there knowing the mumsnet consensus on the guy who runs Wetherspoons but it met our needs. I am a Catholic and feel like I need to say a few Hail Marys as a result.

What are your mumsnet sins?

I used a toilet brush today

Cheese and ham toastie chips and a glass of wine for about 5 quid in Spoons. I mean I’m skint at the moment. I’m not going to forgo the opportunity for such a luxurious lunch treat in town for the sake of mumsnet morals. When a local independent naice place stops charging 15 quid for a panini I’ll change my mind. Although when dp is paying we go to the naice places !

my sin is also that I occasionally put headbands on my bald little baby dd. With little bows on. She has lots that match her outfits. They’re not always pink though. She just looks So CUTE with them on.

I've left my washing out to be darked on

I have grey walls and a grey sofa ... forgive me 🙏🏻

I like the food in Spoons, but the plates are vile.

My sin is that I wash my bedding a lot less frequently than every 2 weeks. I let my dog in my bed too.

To make up for the hair bows, I’m planning on getting her a Polarn O Pyret snowsuit this winter and then making it last at least ten children. (Not all my own, I’ll pass it down to literal strangers to prove the mumsnetters right)

I smoke weed.

A sin if ever there was one on Mumsnet.

Luckily, it's all legal here.

I'm a cleaner and I use several toilet brushes every day. Not sure how I'm supposed to do my job without them tbh.

I actually really like my MIL.

My washing is outside being darked on.

I do not get a week’s worth of dinners from a single chicken.

I don’t care if the neighbours paint our fence.

I cooked a chicken and it didn't last me an entire week.

I’m in contravention of the MN two-child policy.

Smoke in the house, in front of my kids.

I’m covered in tattoos… and I let my kids have unlimited screens (well almost unlimited).

I don't like being on show so I have net curtains.

So, I'm a curtain twitcher on occaision too if I need to have a clearer view of what's going on outside. 😉

The Wetherspoons at Camden lock is really nice of you can get a seat outside.

I regularly leave washing out overnight.
I hate cleaning and avoid it as much and for as long as I can.
I don't have conflict with my friends and sorting the bill in restaurants is never an issue
