If you could live the life of a famous person, who would you choose?

I was thinking about this last night and I think I would choose Kate Moss. I know she has had some turbulent times in her life but she also seems to have had so much fun and amazing experiences, let alone the riches and a seemingly sweet and beautiful child. She also seems like a very nice and well rounded person in all the interviews I've seen of her recently. Plus she has great taste!

JK Rowling, she’s just all round amazing and principled.

I don't understand what your AIBU is.

But yes to Jo Rowling, she's fucking legendary.

OldFashionedWoman · 13/08/2022 11:32

Kate Moss looks like one of those women who'd analyse you from head to toe as you walked into her sight and deem you as inferior.

countdowntonap · 13/08/2022 11:36

As soon as I saw your title I thought - Kate Moss! However, I think that’s because I spent my teenage years idolising her. I think someone like Michelle Obama perhaps lives a more fulfilling life.

CredibilityProblem · 13/08/2022 11:39

Melinda Gates. All the money in the world, very little aggro from the press, and a fulfilling mission in life.

whalleyt · 13/08/2022 11:40

before I read the op I said Kate Miss

whalleyt · 13/08/2022 11:40

Moss!

whalleyt · 13/08/2022 11:41

great career, seems down to earth, has had the same friends for years & I can't imagine any door being closed to her.

LuckyAmy1986 · 13/08/2022 11:41

Jodie turner smith. stunning, talented, eloquent, smart, funny (and gets to sleep with Joshua Jackson)

WineIsMyCarb · 13/08/2022 11:43

Blake Lively.
Three beautiful children, own career, gorgeous, married to the Ryan bloke who's fit and seems to have gsoh. Swishy hair

Imissmoominmama · 13/08/2022 11:46

Jayne Goodall.

itrytomakemyway · 13/08/2022 11:47

Catherine the Great

In real life - maybe Yasmin Le Bon or Shirley Kemp. Both in long lasting marriages, both enjoying a wealthy lifestyle but don't seem to get too much press intrusion.

DisplayPurposesOnly · 13/08/2022 11:48

Jodie Foster. First saw her in Candleshoe (apparently 1977, just looked it up!). Loved her attitude, acting and obvious intelligence.

AntlerRose · 13/08/2022 11:55

David Attenborough.i think he has an amazing time.

He’s apparently very controlling. Not that that has anything to do with anything…!

whalleyt · 13/08/2022 12:10

Ryan Reynolds seems like a good guy but he is an absolute shit actor.

Yes! I would love to see through his eyes just for a day!

DoThePropeller · 13/08/2022 12:25

Blake Lively for me too, her life seems great and I love her clothes!

NannyOggsWhiskyStash · 13/08/2022 12:29

Alexa Chung, she seems to breeze through life looking fab and collecting hot boyfriends. Not sure what she actually does apart from that, but it looks fun.

thelastgreatdynasty · 13/08/2022 12:59

Joanna Lumley

AardvarkLaughs · 13/08/2022 13:02

Ooops. Forgot to disable voting. Sorry or should I say, "Am I being unreasonable to want to live Kate Moss's fabulous life!?"😁.

That's the vibe I get from her as well. She doesn't pass the 'would you want to go down the pub with them?' test for me.

Cat Deeley seems to have a nice life. Going between London and LA, two small children that we never see the faces of (which is the right way to do it IMO) and a supportive husband in Patrick Kielty.
