I am sat watching (because MiL insisted) 2-Headed shark attack and I am very close to jumping in the sea!! 😭😂I recommend it.....

I am OBSESSED with shark films!!! I’ve found my people!

I went to see The Meg on my birthday a few years ago and loved it.

2 headed shark attack! That sounds interesting!!

I once watched one with ds where the shark came up the toilet Grin we felt it was a bit too far fetched but enjoyed it nonetheless!

Ghost Shark!

It's not a good film in the traditional sense (think low budget Sharknado) but's it's hilarious.

Loved the Meg! Apparently there's a sequel coming out!

Deep Blue Sea is still a favourite of mine. One of the least cheesy ones and the CGI was good!

Definitely need to add to my list!

@Mammyloveswine that does sound slightly far-fetched, however, thanks for the nighttime toilet nightmares! 😂😂
It is your typical shark film really. Has 2.5 rating....so an improvement for you!! 🤓

ifoundthebread · 08/08/2022 22:22

I love a rubbish shark film. The more far fetched the better, better still if its on a very low budget 😂

Mammyloveswine · 08/08/2022 22:23

47 metres down was really good! I love the open water films too! Love the suspense!

I wanted to hate The Meg, but it was so overblown I loved it.
Now it has a special place as one of the very few films we've watched as a family without anyone squabbling.

Mammyloveswine · 08/08/2022 22:25

This great white film is great! The perfect mix of predictable, cheesy and jump scares!

Loved this one! Really suspenseful and realistic, think it added to the creepiness and panic that we didn't/rarely saw the sharks.

47 Meters Down and the sequal are pretty good too. I preffered the sequal to the original.

Is the sequel the cave one?

Yeah, 47 Meters Down Uncaged - where the sisters go for a cave dive behind Dad's back...

SashaMannDeservedBetter · 08/08/2022 22:28

Ooh yeah the Meg was great! There was also one about a flooded supermarket where loads of sharks got in, can’t remember how it came to be flooded or even the name of it but that was also good. Nonsense but great fun!

Rainbowx · 08/08/2022 22:28

Oh yes sharks are my favourite I've even swam with them!! Any shark film is worth a watch even the crappy ones !

AtrociousCircumstance · 08/08/2022 22:29

Love a good shark movie! Here for the recommendations 🦈

TobySpaniel · 08/08/2022 22:29

Oh yes me too! Love them all, the sillier the better

justinhawkinsnavalfluff · 08/08/2022 22:29

I am so glad it's not just me. Jaws is my favourite film. Loved the Meg and the shallows!

Yes it's excellent Blake Lively is fabulous in it. And the gull 😊

ExcaliburBaby · 08/08/2022 22:30

I’ve found my people!

The Reef is a great low budget Aussie shark film (its horrendously tense though!)

there’s one called Great White on Sky at the moment that we enjoyed. Frenzy is also a good fairly recent one

The Shallows is obviously a total classic as well as others mentioned!
