My people! The Requin was the most recent shark movie made I think! Can’t wait to see the next Meg

Absolutely love Jaws. Hands down best film ever. Did any of you go and see the stage show about the making of Jaws? Robert Shaws son plays him. Brilliant.

Love Deep Blue Sea, Shallows and The Meg. I really want another good shark film, bad ones annoy me!

Great white was good!

In the 70's they made a Jaws version of Buckaroo. I remember getting cornered in a friends back yard by a local boy who taunted me with the plastic shark

Love all the ones mentioned so far. Don’t think anyone has mentioned Shark Night? Lots of different sharks in a lake attacking beautiful people. Unfortunately it never seems to be on any streaming platforms I have so I only saw it once years ago but I always hope to stumble upon it.
(I think the one with sharks in the supermarket is Bait - also great).

Frequency · 08/08/2022 23:20

I've just had to put Shark Bait on. DD has a man here so I'm not allowed upstairs apparently. It's a good an excuse as any to stay up until the wee hours watching crappy shark films 😂

Anyone mentioned open water yet? Bit more realistic. Filmed with real sharks and I think it was loosely based on a true story.

StElwicks · 08/08/2022 23:33

Hello fellow shark film fans. I love them (see also crocodile, pre-historic fish/shark, alligator) - basically water with predator. Black Water is very good, set in Australia with a massive croc. My husband does not get it at all.

Sometimeswinning · 08/08/2022 23:41

I love this!!! Just put Great White on! (I'm cleaning my house for holiday! This is perfect!)Jaws and Meg are both in top 2!! Add crocodiles, Piranhas to it.

WhackingPhoenix · 08/08/2022 23:42

We’ve just been inspired to find a shark movie to watch...99p on Amazon.

Trailer Park Shark, also titled Shark Shock. It’s fucking hilariously awful and I would wholly recommend GrinGrinGrin

Sharknado was one I watched by accident. Absolutely ridiculous and brilliant 🤩

moostermum · 08/08/2022 23:45

Mine has a group of teenagers stuck on a jet ski. One is bleeding profusely into the water. They're not actually that far from shore and an uninjured one appears to be an olympic level free diver but I guess if they sent him to swim back for help like any sane person would there wouldn't be a film to watch 😂

Ghost Shark!

It's not a good film in the traditional sense (think low budget Sharknado) but's it's hilarious.

I've seen that too! It's RIDICULOUS but I was engrossed!

zaza687 · 09/08/2022 00:19

There my fave !!!!

Carpetfluffy · 09/08/2022 00:30

Sharknado is amazing 😂

Mammyloveswine · 09/08/2022 10:42

Omg watching "the reef stalked" and it is GOOD!!

(I'm washing and ironing all the holiday clothes so have the perfect excuse to watch shark films).

Hereforthedramaz · 09/08/2022 11:16

Love a shark (or crocodile) movie!

Have you all seen the one where it's an albino, blind shark living in a cave of ruins? Can't think what it was called.

Loved The Meg and Deep Blue Sea

Eaumyword · 09/08/2022 11:20

My people - I love all of these mentioned!
I'm obsessed with shark (and critter) movies.
I also enjoyed Dark Tide but you can't seem to get it on Netflix/Sky etc.
For me,The Reef is every worst nightmare come true and the thought of looking down and seeing a huge shark circling below has me 😱

Trinity65 · 09/08/2022 11:36

Absolutely NBU

I, too, love a good Shark film
