They advertise on Facebook as Young Vibes, Your Child Freedom Formula, Peaky Parents, Anxiety, Our Formula, and various other names.

They use a 'high ticket' sales technique, where they offer a webinar and then urge you to book a call. The call is a high-pressure sales call.

They have changed their name quite a few times over the last year, after they were investigated by the Advertising Standards agency - www.asa.org.uk/rulings/tomwill--holdings--ltd-g21-1116080-tomwill--holdings--ltd.html, and they were featured in a BBC radio 4 documentary www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000zt9y

There are a few threads on the child mental health boards - here's one. www.mumsnet.com/talk/child_adolescent_mental_health/4239684-your-child-freedom-formula-has-anyone-tried-it?page=1

On the threads there are people from 'both sides', including some who have been through the program, so it's well worth having a read if you are thinking of making the call.

Hi Sam.

You haven’t explained what it is you think a mental health problem is.

Also, could you clarify what GDPR regulations you would be breaking in your above post?

The point has been missed and Sam is trying to guess who we are.

As parents none of us are perfect. What this company see are parents in a situation that is stressful and scary, something they can only assume to understand unless they have been a parent in that situation (which they haven't as far as I am aware). This effects all the relationships within the household. To take this snapshot of time and use this to assume that you know the whole story is wrong.

Again your answer is BLAMING and denying you were wrong to take on autistic children. Whilst your previous answers say that anxiety in autistic people needs to be treated differently. And regardless of any issues within a family WHY DID YOU KNOWINGLY TAKE ON AN AUTISTIC CHILD?

BruisedSkies · 11/06/2023 16:31

I don’t think Sam is gonna come back. I want her to answer my questions too. She answered some but not all of them. I also want to know what caused Sam to change her mind about whether autism exists. Also whether she still assets that she can cure 100% of children of their anxiety. Also what is her definition of a mental health problem.

From the website. Makes it looks like they mainly work with autistic children. Every child (well almost) on our program has been tested and put on the spectrum, or is waiting to be tested for Autism. Unless your child is in a special school, please do call.

They don't @BruisedSkies that's something new!

They also say this UK's unrivalled leader in Child Anxiety Coaching All in the FAQ answers.

"Put on the spectrum"

Like it's a bloody shelf...

Chuppy222 · 12/06/2023 06:51

After Sam’s outburst in front of my son over zoom (oh yes she will know exactly who I am) I insisted on a face time call (which she really really tried to avoid!!) I wanted to talk about the outburst and the ‘asshole’ comment. She immediately tried to take control of the narrative and laid into me about my daughter (yes unfortunately I had TWO children on the program) and how I had failed to tell her she’s in a special school. Fact is she is not in a special school. She attends a mainstream independent school which ‘specialises’ in dyslexia. If anyone had bothered to take a proper history or assessment she would have known this. I of course shut her down and said I was 100% truthful during our consultation about my kids ASD and ADHD!!!!! Why wouldn’t I be????
it’s taking me so long to process all of this the last two weeks, its only just starting to dawn on me what has been done to us. Like the initial consultation telling me that I had to get both my children on the program, because if I only wanted my son to do it it wouldn’t work!!!!! In my eyes that’s another hard sell tactic!

BruisedSkies · 12/06/2023 07:01

I noticed that I phrase.

BruisedSkies · 12/06/2023 07:03

That was to @Pinkflipflop85 about the put on the spectrum phrase.

@Chuppy222 it all sounds very difficult for you. I guess they just wanted to make some more money

@SamanthaRobinsYoungVibes are you coming back to answer more questions?

Chuppy222 · 12/06/2023 07:12

I can’t understand why are there nothing but glowing reviews with Sam thanking them on Trust Pilot? I have just left my review on there. I will be investigating how to go about putting a stop to these types of businesses who are unregulated, unqualified and have nobody to be accountable to or answer to.

BruisedSkies · 12/06/2023 09:05

Well the previous trust pilot under your child freedom formula had a warning sign on it. Saying something like the reviews might not all be true or something. Can’t remember exactly. I asked about that earlier in the thread.

Reading the reviews they don’t sound like they likely to be true. They all sound very familiar.

Well done for standing up for yourself, it wouldn't have been easy! We were also under some pressure to include our other children on the programme, first of all inclusive off the £000s we had already paid then at additional costs. We declined!

My response to that @SamanthaRobinsYoungVibes is also a ‘Wow’
do you honestly think after what we have uncovered in regards your companies ruthlessness that we are going to part with another penny to give to you?!

I have asked for your mentors qualifications, nothing, your safeguarding policy, nothing. Your service and professionalism is appalling and should be illegal! I am now left sitting here beating myself up because I of all people should have known better and did not research well enough. I trusted companies like yours wouldn’t be possible in this day and age.

The word ‘delighted’ has never ever been used. The only reason my daughter made ‘some’ progress was purely only down to the fact that I had to translate a large amount of what the mentor was saying to her, by sitting in. Otherwise my daughter would come off the call and tell me she didn’t understand a word, it was advanced language, and South African lingo. As I said to you, your programme is basically CBT and didn’t teach me anything I didn’t already know. I have always struggled to get my daughter to sit down and listen to ‘mum’. I managed to do this by telling her ‘this is what Sarah means’ bla bla bla! The mentor knew nothing about my daughter or how to communicate with her. Due to no proper professional assessment or history being taken. And huge gaps in her knowledge re ASD, ADHD and dyslexia. I didn’t question it. I really really should have! So I will take the credit for any progress thank you very much, if it wasn’t for me noticing this it would have caused more harm than anything else.

She wasn’t suitable for the programme, you didn’t tell me that because you didn’t bother to find out properly. l ended up having to intervene myself.

We have now commissioned a qualified regulated professional to work with my son which he is finding helpful. Any monies you think we owe you will quite rightly be going in that direction thank you very much.

It really is beyond belief you think you are not a liar. You told me you were folding the business on the 2nd June (quote: everyone will be finishing in the 2nd June)

It is not really the same thing is it? Changing names and providing the same sub standard service where you speak to parents like crap in front of children. That’s carrying on regardless and hiding, running away from the bad reputation you have.

you are very lucky I’m not demanding a refund.

Chuppy222 · 12/06/2023 10:33

@SamanthaRobinsYoungVibes you’ll also be pleased to know that I am totally done with this here. I have said all I needed to say in order to let people know what your all about. I won’t be watching your video, and I won’t be wasting another moment of my life on the whole thing. Over and out.

Sandrose · 12/06/2023 10:37

@Chuppy222 your experience sounds horrendous and I'm not surprised its taking you time to process what has happened. Well done for leaving your review on Trustpilot.

As for why there are not more negative reviews, I'm not sure. But I do know that Young Vibes twice tried to get my negative review taken down by asking Trustpilot to investigate. Each time I went back with info and it's still there now. If Young Vibes challenges it, it is taken down. If you miss the emails or don't respond that becomes permanent. Young Vibes also attack the posters of negative reviews by leaving their own, largely sarcastic comments.

Just so you know what to expect.

No doubt Sam Robins will come back to say that it's her right to do this, which of course it is. False reviews help no-one, so I get why Trustpilot has this process, but of course its a lot easier for business to challenge their reviews than it is for outsiders to know whether positive reviews are genuine. I remember from threads in the past there were posters saying they had been pressurised into giving glowing reviews at early stages of the programme, before things later went off the rails.

@Sandrose and all the others I’d like to say thank you. I won’t be posting anymore. I’ve said all I needed to say. Like you I don’t want any vulnerable families falling for it and being treated this way.

I’m a mental health professional myself, so I don’t have a problem with CBT or emotionally regulated parenting. I thought an outsider would be a good option in getting them to engage with it. However I would have preferred qualified people who know what they are doing!

For some reason during the whole fiasco I was left questioning myself. And here I am, she continues to gaslight! And have the cheek to ask for the balance!!!

As Sam likes to say ‘Wow’

@Sandrose your prediction was bang on. She has just flagged my review as ‘harmful and illegal’ so it can’t be seen until investigated.

Whats worse though is the reply!! Accused of not paying for no reason, leaving (nope you said you were folding) and she has also just breached confidentiality and said that my son ‘has an addiction’ NO you told him that Sam!! and are you qualified to make that diagnosis, I know not! He’s a young boy with ASD, the professional working with him now is tasked with trying to undo the damage this has done.

So, another act of unprofessional conduct. Breaching confidentiality on Trust Pilot.

Chuppy222 · 12/06/2023 11:41

@SamanthaRobinsYoungVibes

Nice reply on Trust pilot, more lies.

trained counsellors? Really? Evidence please? Regulating body please?

by the way, your not qualified to make such a diagnosis, AND you just breached confidentiality on Trust Pilot. But you would not know that because your not a professional. Still claiming radical things about mental illness.
